The human body Higekiri has can recover from just about anything and everything when it comes to physically obtained injuries. The only way to leave a lasting, dangerous injury upon him is to attack him through spiritual means or to physically damage his blade. That aside even death isn’t permanent unless the blade is shattered, if he’s stuck in a way that would kill a human, the temporary body Higekiri assumes will dissipate and the spirit will return to it’s blade.

The Minamoto duo have a natural charisma, a result of their years of experiences and especially because of the times they were present in the more political side of Minamoto clan affairs. Higekiri is marginally more capable than his brother and perhaps most of that can be attributed to how much more approachable Higekiri seems; despite his aloof and carefree manner it does wonders to ones image to not be quite so much of a stickler as Hizamaru.
