born in salem, massachusetts, she was the youngest daughter of a family of 5 and the only girl. the thing was, was she actually not her father’s daughter but the daughter of a member of the gemini coven - who had moved to salem a few years prior.
knowing she had magic from an early age, she found that she could only siphon it from others, which made her feel like an outcast in many aspects. she was told to never use magic in front of others in fear of getting caught
and she listened, for years she did as she was told and never used magic in public, until one day when she was 24. surrounded by an angry mob - accusing her of witchcraft - she got overwhelmed and accidentally used magic. thus, she became one of the first witches to be burned at the stake
what no one knew was that she was visited by someone the night before who fed her their blood, thus when she was burned she didn’t truly die and was reborn as a heretic.
anger and vengeance ran through her blood as she woke up and, sneaking into the houses of those who accused her, she didn’t give them death but immortality - to let them suffer for eternity with what they had done to her.
wandering around town during the night, she found herself weirdly at peace, and then she ran into the person who turned her. and instead of intense anger and what they had done, she was thankful and wanted to stay by their side.
she learned under this person for over a hundred years, learning all she could about how to control what she was and what the world had to offer. she travelled to other countries, saw different things, and she knew that the world had so much more to offer than what she was originally living.
eventually splitting up from her maker, she made sure to keep in touch with them, yet communication stopped somewhere around the 20th century and she eventually came to presume the worst. over the years she wondered what happened to her brothers, did they live a good life? did they find success? or did they meet a tragic end like she had?
she has spent hundreds of years looking for any information about them but has found little to nothing on what happened after she disappeared, which has led her to worry for their safety and possibly her descendant’s safety.
