My hair is back to being fully virgin and super long after growing and cutting all the remaining bleached ends. I get hydrating treatments every 3 months, a gloss and I get my ends trimmed every 6 months and my hairstylist actually only cuts 2/3 cm (only necessary so the split ends are gone). I don’t believe the you have to get a cut every 3 months to grow hair, imo it has to be a lie hairdressers made up to keep the business coming 🤨. How is your hair supposed to grow if you get all the length you grew cut every 3 months??? Just cut the split ends when necessary and grow it as much as possible. I’ll even say that to gain maximum length you ignore minimal splits and let it grow until the growth stops and then you cut very conservatively to stimulate it back.

I absolutely love the area we live in currently and I want to stay around due to the proximity with top private schools on all levels. However I fell like we are overgrowing the space. Despite renovating and still having projects for the house, I’d want to built our dream home on a city land but there isn’t none unless you go in the suburbs. Also we might relocate in the states or back to Europe in a few years depending on his next career move but we have projects here keeping us in this city for at least the next 2/3 years so my dream house project will be in the backburner until we really decide where we will set roots for good. I wanted another baby but now that my son started daycare I decided to enjoy a few more months of freedom and my husband settling in an amazing new position in a few months so we pushed back the baby project. I was hesitating because I want to have my body back to me for good soon (and pregnancy+ breastfeeding at least a year of infancy is at least another 2 years of dedicating my whole being and losing myself temporarily) and it’s pushing that to later. Plus, I wanted to go back to uni to start a master but I can always do that later. I feel like the past years were the closing of a chapter for the beginning of another’s: it felt like a transitional period that was tough for me, it required a lot of adaptation, changes and I was in grief. I feel like this difficult transition is finally over and yes more changes are to come this time around but I feel healed within myself and ready for that, it’s also positive stuff all around and I’m so so grateful for that.
