Like a lot of you, I’m really sad to see Tumblr change it’s policy, wiping out a huge part of our community. We’re seeking interest in an alternate platform, that we would develop, as a landing place for this content and our community.

Okay, so. December 17th is the day the ban officially drops on all things porn here on Tumblr. So that’s…great.

This blog here is SFW, so I don’t expect to get banned. However, I will have to back up - and then delete - my NSFW side blog. If you know that blog, enjoy it until December 16th, when I’ll delete it.

 TO BACK UP YOUR ENTIRE BLOG AT ONCE:

Click “Settings”.

Click the blog icon on the right side bar.

Scroll down to “Export”.

Click the “Export [blogname]” button.

It’ll take some time, but when it’s done, it’ll provide you a .ZIP file featuring all of the images and videos on your blog (in full resolution), as well as a .ZIP within that contains every post in HTML format, minus the Tumblr layout. You can only do this with your own blogs, and not blogs by other people.

When I first tried this feature out, I did have trouble exporting it with Windows Explorer, but WinRAR handled it no problem. Something to keep in mind.

Don’t punish the people that made you popular since the beginning. Return to the Wild West model.

Hire some competent coders for once. Pay them well.

Set up a better separation of Adult and Kid sections. You want Tumblr to be safe and inviting to kids and adult children. Fine. Give them a corner of Tumblr with a ball pit.

We didn’t come here for your vision of a more positive Tumblr. We came here to escape Twitter and Facebook. Stop trying to be like the sites everyone hates.

 President Trump is your President if you are a citizen of the United States of America. Deal with it.

Stop pushing innovations no asked for in the first place.

Stop being Google with shitty algorithms.
