Dunsinane acclaims Beth as winner of the prestigious school prize - although the year has taken it's toll with Charlotte's expulsion, Bianca's injury, Stewart's breakdown, Lane's death and Alicia's subsequent retreat. Still, Beth's done alright.

Beth knows she has to follow her path to the end - wherever that may lead.

The Jocks joke around, alleging that Alicia has been playing around while she's been in Africa, putting doubt in Lane's mind and sending him straight into Beth's arms.

Stewart pleads with Beth to stop agitating for a fight. She's drawing attention and suspicions will be raised. He's terrified of getting found out. But Beth knows the path has been set from the beginning.

Melissa and the other Princesses plot how to cut Beth down to size. They enlist the help of Lennox and the other Jocks.

After a vicious attack on Bianca, the Weird Sisters predict Beth's downfall.

Beth is elected Senior Class President, but Bianca has her suspicions about what happened with Charlotte. Beth turns on her friend. She delivers a triumphant address to the rest of the school. The first act closes at the height of Beth's ascent.

Beth is reluctant to plant drugs on her rival. Stewart urges her on. This is the only way to get at someone as privileged as Charlotte Duncan.

Alicia MacDuff and Lane Anderson affirm their love for each other before she leaves to do aid work in Africa.

Queen Bee, Charlotte Duncan, and the Princesses flirt with and tease the Jocks. Charlotte realises how she can get back at Beth - through Stewart.

Beth and Bianca react sarcastically to the 3 Sisters' predictions.

The 2nd number from BethMac. The 3 Sisters read tarot cards and predict the future for Beth Mac - she'll become team captain, get elected Class President and win the Dunsinane School Prize. Beth and teammate Bianca laugh at the prospect.
