The rock band Cymbals Eat Guitars pulled a hat trick with their third album, “LOSE,” released last September. It was their third consecutive album to earn a rating higher than eight from the highly critical music website Pitchfork. Even if you don’t trust critics, that’s a notable accomplishment.
