Every year, Echo Magazine puts out a Hall of Fame list.

"October is LGBT History Month, and it's an Echo Magazine annual tradition to use the occasion to name new members to the publication's Hall of Fame who have helped make history in the local community.

Since the Hall of Fame was established in 2006, LGBT community heroes have been named to the list for their contributions.

Those named are recognized for work in government and politics, nonprofit service, activism and entertainment — all with the mission of serving the community. Their dedication is an example for anyone who wants to make a difference.

The men and women profiled on the following pages join more than 85 others who have been named over the past seven years."

I am honoured to have made the list this year, as the first MI/drag king to be recognised since they started the tradition.
