Petition to have Tumblr actually do something about porn blog bots following users.
β’ Itβs annoying. β’ It gives an imperfect metric for how many followers you have. (I would estimate about 25% of my βfollowersβ are porn blogs run by bots). β’ It makes pulling up your activity page iffy even if you use Tumblr strictly for SFW content. β’ Itβs problematic for individuals who have struggled with sex and/or pornography addictions, especially since many of the blog names are not obviously porn names, causing you to preview the blog. β’ It exposes minors to illegal and harmful content.
And to many of us: β’ Itβs disgusting. β’ itβs degrading to human beings, especially women. β’ It makes Tumblr a less classy, less reputable place.

Absolutely, if I want porn I can get it myself, I donβt want these sites following me & reposting my pictures out of context. I am tired of having to check & block and I only have 120 followers; for users with 1000β²s of followers it must be a nightmare
