Leon :We needed to play short passes because we didn’t had a lot of space. And I think we did this good.

Reporter: There are many people who talk about the Umbruch (sorting out the older players so younger players get the chance to play more) and you are already smiling. How much of of this way is completed or don’t you care ?

Leon: No this isn’t completed yet, it’s still very early . There are still things which can be better. And there are still things we need to improve. These games are good because we can analyse the video material from today and we can train and improve from it. I think there will come other opponents, other tasks and everything needs to be perfect and we aren’t there yet.

Reporter: The commentators praised you a lot because you often went to the top (don’t know how to translate it into Englisch, Germans wenn ihr was besseres wisst sagt Bescheid 😂) and that’s how you scored your header. Is this your place in the team ? Going from the midfield into the top ?

Leon: This is one of my strengths, that’s what I can do on the pitch. I will always try to do that against these low defending teams to create new spaces for other players. But I’m not the only player who runs into these spaces.
