As an artist essentially your job is to be a vehicle for other people. When you take responsibility for an audience, you are then accepting the fact that you must go through some sort of distilling process in which the personal experience has become so zeroed and so heightened by a clarity that you know exactly what you're dealing with. Then you find the movement, essence of that idea inherent not only in how your body moves, but in an awareness of a total thing.
