Wellp, that was a doozy. 2016. Yikes. The new year is always an important time for me to sit down with myself and reflect on my strengths and weaknesses and to set some intentions for the year ahead. It was not my most productive year - not by far - and I probably spent too much time questioning and fighting with myself. While there are a lot of things I found disappointing this year, there were also several instances of light and hope and where I felt very much grounded in my surroundings and in my work. All that said, I am very excited for the year ahead. What 2016 got right was that it taught me who I am and how I want to grow both in my work and personal life. I’m not sure if I can confidently say that I’m on the right “path” but I think I’m probably in the right forest, wandering through the right trail system with many rocky hilly twisty turny segments. It’s all good.
Happy New Year.
