After having given Frankie his contact information, he was buzzed to get an invite to see her perform. There had been something mysterious about her before they met, an idyllic story he had concocted in his mind of who she was. And after meeting her, he still felt that, and felt a mysterious pull towards her. Showing up st the performance was a no brainer, that was just who he was. Someone who showed up for others, no questions asked, even if it was at three in the morning. Thankfully though the performance wasnt that late, though he would have shown up anyway. As he arrived, he saw the band unloading into the venue and he quickly jogged ahead. "Hey!" He replied and held the door for Frankie, "can I help carry anything?"

Frankie hadn't expected to hear his voice, not so soon. The band was unloading into the venue, albeit a little later than expected and normal. Luckily, High Pulse was local and they really didn't need to bring much. Hearing his voice, she felt a smile tug the corners of her mouth upward. "Hey yourself." She greeted him, a bag slung over her shoulder. "Oh, yeah, sure," she pointed to another bag, "that's another drum for me," it was easier to carry them disassembled and she had got so good at putting it together she could do it in her sleep. "You're here early, just couldn't wait to see me, huh?" Frankie teased, a raise of her brow following. @griffinxreed

Frankie felt her lips curl brighter into a smile with the man's animated responses. People who were excitable and passionate were the type that she were drawn to more naturally. "We have, yeah," she nodded her head, "usually the owner of Vinyl Fantasy let's us do something with the recording studio there when we need and then we've played at a few places around town, but mostly we've been going to Portland for bigger shows." In town was practice, more or less, to Frankie. "I can let you know when your next show is." Frankie offered, pulling out her phone so that she could get his contact information. @griffinxreed

Frankie smiled with Micah's words. "I'm glad to have her, too." Gia would always be someone important to Frankie. They'd been through so much together already. She couldn't imagine anything tearing the two of them apart. Her gaze shifted, landing on the space that was ceasing to exist between the two of them. She shifted, eyes meeting his as he spoke quietly. As his lips met hers, she smiled into the kiss. It was soft, gentle. Frankie lifted a hand, placing it on the side of his cheek as she pressed her lips a little more firmly to his. @micaheverhart

Micah knew that having people in your life that was important - a sibling, a best friend - and he was happy that through it all, they both had found people that were important to them. Something not everyone could say. As the space closed between them and Micah's lips were pressed against hers, he felt her hand against his cheek, her lips pressing harder against his, which he mimicked. Hands resting against her sides as he deepened the kiss. @frankiexcalloway

Frankie just shrugged her shoulders at her sister's question. She didn't have an honest answer for her. "No, there isn't anything wrong with fun." Frankie just wasn't sure that she really knew how to have it. She spent so much of her life being responsible for Gia and herself that she didn't get the chance to find out just how much fun fun could be. "Okay," she scrunched her nose, "please don't dive into your sexual escapades. I don't think I'd be able to look anyone in town in the eye." She joked with her sister, shaking her head. "But I do have to ask who has been the best and worst so far." @giacalloway

"You need to let loose a little, Frank." Gia exhaled, though she sounded a little annoyed she didn't mean anything by it. "You have spent most of your life being the responsible one. Let loose a little. It's worth it I promise." she smiled, eyes shifting to her older sister. "Don't dive in as in you don't want to know?" she paused. "Or don't dive in by sleeping with the whole town in -" she exhaled, counting on her fingers. "In eight months. Because that may be a little too late." Her gaze had shifted again, towards the ceiling where her gaze was focused almost as if she were counting. "You're still good for now, but the people you can look in the eye are slim let me just tell you." @frankiexcalloway

"The food is beyond amazing." It was one of the things Frankie had found herself missing the most, but she had a few recipes up her sleeve. At least, for when she had time to dedicate to cooking that much. "I'm with you there," Frankie agreed with a quiet laugh, "Well as far as it goes for me, I was more known for my music. Well, my sister's music. I'm a drummer in her band." She knew it was their band but she never minded giving Gia more credit where it was due. @griffinxreed

Frankie smiled warmly at the man as they exchanged ice creams. "It looks good, too." She offered a statement of assurance. It wasn't a lie, though, it did. As the other started to taste their ice cream, she waited to do her own, wanting to see if he could guess it. "Honey is a good guess." She nodded her head as he got it right. "It's actually a flavor that's in it that I wouldn't have guessed go well together." But she didn't give it away, yet. Frankie lifted her own ice cream to her lips. "This one definitely has some cinnamon in it." It was what she tasted first but it wasn't an overwhelming flavor. "I'm getting like a cookie taste?" Though she were blanking on the kind. @tomasxcooper

"It was." Micah laughed, glad she'd caught on that that had been exactly what he was doing. Yet, he wasn't going to act on it yet. He'd wait, move in when it was the appropriate time. Micah wasn't used to this; he'd never been someone that was familiar in the dating department, and for once he was riding on the thrill of being wanted. A feeling he could easily get use to. He also couldn't deny the idea of dating someone older than him wasn't thrilling in itself.

"They're amazing." Micah stated, nodding as if to reiterate his statement. "Their the biggest reason I'm still in this town." he shrugged, an admittance he hadn't quite said out loud before now. Yet, instead of commenting anymore he just listened, letting Frankie talk about anything she needed to. "I understand what you mean." he nodded. "It's funny how the people that are supposed to be there for you aren't and the people that have no relationship to you are the ones that seem to care the most." he shrugged. "I'm glad you have your sister, though." he paused. "You deserve to have someone important in your life." Micah exhaled, eyes shifting from Frankie for a second, the view in front of them sending him lost in thought.

A beat, maybe a few and Micah shifted, scooting closer to Frankie. Inhaling he turned, looking at Frankie. "About earlier." he spoke, not realizing that his voice was barely above a whisper before he leaned in, placing a gentle kiss to her lips, the sound of his heart thumping against his chest the only thing coursing through his brain right now. @frankiexcalloway

That's why she was hooking up with half the town with absolutely no regrets. "There's nothing wrong with fun." Gia shrugged, looking over at her sister. "Fun is good." And she'd leave it at that for now. "But never say never. You know I've always said go with your gut." Gia smiled. It was when the question returned to Gia that she let herself smile. "A few someones." Gia laughed. "Let's just say you're little sister is no stranger to the beds of Kismet Harbor." @frankiexcalloway

"I've been to Seaside Sweets but not Frosty Bliss." When she first moved to Kismet Harbor, it had not exactly been ice cream weather, though she knew some people would beg to differ. "New Orleans is truly incredible." Frankie admitted aloud with a smile, "I mean, I'm really enjoying Kismet Harbor but it was a huge change of pace. I'm not sure New Orleans is ever quiet where Kismet has this overarching sense of peace at like all times." The blonde stated with a laugh. "Yeah, you think that it would be just weird enough that someone knows that about you, but," she paused for a beat, "you're right. You're rarely remembered in New Orleans, at least not for your coffee order." @griffinxreed

Frankie stepped up to the glass, her gaze scanning the ice cream flavors. It was one thing to read their names on the list above the register, but Frankie preferred to get a visual of them all while she decided. Her finger lifted, pointing to Smoked Honey Mint Chip. It felt like a summer flavor that would be a perfect mix. She could only imagine that the sweetness of the honey complemented the mint and the smoked cream was new to her. Either way, Frankie was confident in her choice. She moved to the counter after the other had moved away, paying for the one she ordered and approaching him after she did. Frankie wasn't surprised when people were surprised that she was in a band. She thought that it was more fun that way. People would assume one thing about her and she'd lay that down, giving them reason to pause. "Actually, no." A quiet laugh passed over her lips as the corners of her lips turned upward. "That's my sister. I'm a drummer." She clarified with a slight nod of her head. "She started the band back when she was in high school. I had just graduated or was about to," the timelines that long ago were sometimes fuzzy, "and that was that." Though there was way more to the story, she knew they didn't have time to dive into all of that. "What do you do?" Her brow raised in his direction this time. @franciscofontenelle
