Everyone say hello to Frankie! She's going to be my mascot of sorts for all my review accounts~

Y'know, looking back, with the benefit of hindsight, Earthrise Arcee is... still not a very good figure. I would even say bad. She's an unholy amalgam of part and shell forming, with an utterly ridiculous backpack comprising the entirety of her altmode that she doesn't even have the decency to fit into well. She is so ashamed of the thing that you can just take half of it right off. Even the masterpiece had a modicum of self respect and kept that chunk attached. She is the culmination of everything wrong with hasbro's approach to female transformers, the need to maintain a slim, slender, feminine form superseding any and all sensible toy design.

Something smaller to get back into the swing of things, it's 07 Dropkick! While the Bumblebee Movie incarnation would go on to claim much greater fame, he still held the name first. And it's not like he did... nothing, having been the basis for the drones in the tie-in video game and showing up in the comic. Good for him. As for the actual toy, he's a real stunner, but uh... not much more than that, yeah. He's got a fair few joints, but he has trouble using them for a variety of reasons. They either can't go far out to begin with or get blocked pretty easily by his wealth of kibble. They don't make them like this anymore though! Literally, the design process for new characters has straight up reversed. Dropkick was designed with the goal of "how do we make this car into a robot" as opposed to the other way around. Probably contributes to his stiffness.... He's a bit top heavy, as well. You get him in a good stance and then don't touch him.

It's HFTD Terradive! He's still a fantastic figure, and looks damn good to boot.

I pulled him out because I was thinking of picking up a TFCC Depth Charge and selling Terradive to fund that venture (at least partially), and while Depthcharge is really *really* cool, so is Terradive and giving him some time in the spotlight reminded me of that.

The colors especially are super nice, and the jet mode is so slick.
