September 18th is the day my relationship ended. Three months and sixteen days away from our three year anniversary. One can put in their best effort, make sacrifices, work and work and work for perfection, only to be left with nothing. To be fallen out of love with. To still come up short. I will be alone, for god knows how long, and I will be in pain until I am unable to take any more of it.
