Lifes Little Tangents

I have the dumbest bedroom. It doesn’t have a direct exit to a hallway. One door goes to the bathroom and the other goes to another bedroom. We tend to keep doors shut upstairs to keep one cat from finding something to pee on. But also we have one that decided he was done being friends and goes after the other cats. So he lives fairly happily as an only cat in my room, and the second bedroom when he’s allowed. Because of this and the fact that it’s the second floor of the house my room is unbearably hot. It was below zero this morning and my room is still so hot that so far I’ve only been using a sheet to sleep under(and a small fan running all night). It has to be 15 degrees warmer in my room than anywhere downstairs. It’s ridiculous. It was only about 18F today but I finally had to crack the window, maybe an inch or so. Between that and my fan I’m hoping that I can cool off a bit. And sleep!

It’s always dry this time of year but this year has been particularly bad. I finally bought a small humidifier for my room. Goose is so confused and interested in it. He’s shoved his head right into the mist a couple of times already. I wish I could get a picture of him. I’ll try if he does it again.

Also, Keala Settle is so goooooood! We saw her when she was in Les Mis on Broadway. But she was amazing in The Greatest Showman!

My sister, cousin and I all went to see The Greatest Showman. The house is now obsessed with the music. It was worth buying the ticket for the music and dancing alone. I want to watch all the dancing again. It was so good.
