book - Volume 1 of ‘Fragments’ has just been launched for pre-orders through Another Place Press… and I’m delighted to announce that this is our 50th photobook release! The book is available as a standard edition (for just £16) or as a special edition, each of which comes with a signed and numbered A4 print (for just £48). “Zaunkönig” is a psychogeographical exploration of the suburbs.

Psychogeography examines the influence of the architectural or geographical environment on perception, psychological experience and behaviour.

The tension between seclusion and connectedness is central. It is about attraction and repulsion, the banal, the unexpected and the individual, emotional confrontation with it. In this way, a narrative about the suburbs themselves emerges, for which Berlin merely forms the stage.
