Just realised I have neglected this blog! I am still writing. So originally I set out to write the sequel to Starstruck, in which the film has actually been made and Aurora Richmond is up to her old tricks. However, Callie has been demanding another story. I also have another WIP which is intended to be the final one in the series, where Egon looks back on his life and there is an event that happens to Callie when she's fourteen that has a profound impact on her. I also wanted to have a supernatural element to this particular story and it took a while to outline what could happen and how it would tie in. Initially it started off as a side plot in Starstruck 2 but I felt it was too heavy and angsty - I want to keep Starstruck 2 light hearted with a lot of comedic elements. There is one little bit of angst I want to keep in but overall, I felt it better to split the story. I have now started writing that story - the first chapter is done and I'm working on the second!

The Spengler twins finally meet again after almost 34 years. It seems like the nightmare that Alex and Egon have been embroiled in may finally be over but how easy will it be for them to come to terms with everything that has happened?

As Alex slowly recovers from the injuries inflicted on her, the detectives of SVU and NYPD are still hunting for Leon, who now has sinister plans involving Egon's daughter… Wow this chapter did take some doing but I'm satisfied with how it turned out. And there's the confrontation that we've been waiting for at the end... We're also halfway through the story!

Elliot and Olivia have had a lucky escape, though are frustrated that they came so close to finding Leon. More detective work brings them closer to finding answers, though at the cost of another life. Alex has a welcome visitor and Egon continues to wallow in guilt over recent events. OOF this was a tough chapter to write! Emotions are running very high and there's various traumas to navigate. Alex is pretty tough but what has happened to her is not something that'll be easy to recover from. Egon is struggling with his own trauma and guilt as well.

Chapter 3 is up!
The hunt is now on for Leon Spengler, Egon's estranged twin brother but it still doesn't get him off the hook with his wife or his friends. And what about his daughter? The SVU team are called to the site of another murder, which they suspect is linked to the Spenglers.
There is period typical discussion around mental health conditions. Also, Egon was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome. I was diagnosed with the same back in 2019 - I think it's only in the last few years we are beginning to phase that term out.
In case you are unaware, Hans Asperger was a Nazi sympathiser who studied autistic kids and separated out the ones who he referrred to as 'little professors' who had traits useful the the regime. The others were... I'm sure I don't have to explain.

Chapter Summary: While Alex recovers in hospital, Egon has to try and prove his innocence. Detectives Benson and Stabler, along with their colleagues, are hell bent on bringing the killer to justice, whoever they may be.

CW: Mention of a pet death (not described) So the action ramps up! Also, I forgot to mention in the previous post - my reason for inclusing Law & Order:SVU Simple, really, I binged the six seasons available on Netflix and OMG that was a wild ride, some of the stories were crazy and there were a couple that were inspiration for this fic, including one episode starring Kyle MacLachlan!!

Ghost, Fungis, Twinkies & Sex: Wake Me When It's Over Chapter 1
Finally I've started to publish the WIP I've been working on! This fic has actually been almost a year in the making. There was actually 2 different fics that I had, one part of this series and the other a part of the my original Egon Spengler and You series which was heavily adapted to be part of this series.
The other part was always intended to be a part of GFTS but I abandoned it temporarily to work on some over stuff. Anyway, I decided to pick it up again and did a massive re-write, including some elements from the original reader fic (that was never published and I probably won't).
Anyway this is fic is very dark compared to the rest of the series and although it is a part of the GFTS series, it can be skipped if it's not your thing. It does call back to a lot of stuff in the other stories in the series but I'll be make very little reference to it in future stories. There's actually a small reference to it in The Spengler's A to Z of Sex.
I've also updated its order in the series as the series is in order of chronology rather than published date and I think it's very fitting that it's the 13th part of the series. Which much thanks to @hippiegoth97 my awesome beta reader and cheerleader! Anyway: the fic, Rating: Explicit Warnings: Rape/Non-con & Graphic Violence. The rape itself happens off screen and nothing is graphically described - I prefer to try and leave it to the reader's imagination.
Story Summary: Alex and Egon are plunged into a living nightmare when Alex is subjected to a horrific attack, which makes her question everything she thought she knew about her husband.
Egon, now accused of a terrible crime, has to confront one last demon from his past.
Guest starring Law & Order: SVU!
Chapter summary: The Ghostbusters make a grisly discovery on a bust, which triggers a response from NYPD's Special Victims Unit, never suspecting that one of their own would be accused of a vicious crime.

Sorry have been neglecting this blog but have been very busy! However I was dtermined to put something out to mark the anniversary of our beloved Harold's passing. Please note that this fic is available to registered readers only. Sorry but with all the AI scraping going on and AI Bots & scammers seeming to be the only ones leaving comments, that's the only way I feel comfortable publishing on AO3 these days.
Summary: Reader suffers a crushing disappointment and is surprised that her boss, Egon is actually sympathetic. Missing out on one thing leads to the opportunity for something even better.
Although I wrote it as a femme reader could be read as any gender.
Egon Spengler/reader one shots and requests: Dance With Me
Here's a new one shot!
Rating explicit! Basically there's a bit of ghostbusting, followed by dancing and sex in the back of Ecto-1. Kept thinking about how I'd never written Egon having sex in Ecto-1 and really this was a terrible oversight. And a friend convinced me Egon would be a very good dancer.

Am busy writing my latest installment on the GFTS series which will be a cross over with Law and Order:SVU. I binged all 5 series available on Netflix, trying to see where else I can find it!
It's going to be dealing with some very intense themes so it will come with the rape/oncon tag. Egon and Alex will SUFFER. But it will have a happy ending.

Chapter 6 is up!!
And I guess it kind of has a cliff hanger? #sorrynotsorry I did want to continue this story but the continuation would need quite a bit of exposition as it would continue a few years after the events of this story. So I kind of wrapped it up with Aurora coming up with a half-assed plan to interfere with Egon and Alex's marriage (she's got many laudable skills but thinking is not one of them). Any way this story is complete.

There's sex and there's feels in this chapter... and also I took a headcanon I saw with regards to Egon and went with it. And there's also a quote from Buffy the Vampire Slayer as well! Plus I got some Dad!Egon in as well, I need to write more Egon & Callie interactions!
Just a shame so few people are reading this or even commenting. I actually didn't bother putting in the total number of chapters in when posting, I plan to do that when I post the third chapter to see if that makes a difference but it seems it doesn't. Still, I know the people who have read it have liked and a least one person I know has enjpyed it! And mainly, I wrote it for my pleasure anyway!
