Derek listens to her fears and feels his face fall. He promised her so many things. And each time he fell short and Cordelia just accepted it; accepted his faults because she loved him. Derek looks at his hands, feeling like a pup thatās been scolded. Derek knows their child wonāt be as accepted as his others, wonāt have a place in the world, but he wants to make sure theyāll have one in his family. With his pack, so theyāll know their siblings.Ā
āScared that Iāll never really be with you.ā Derek finishes.Ā
Cordelia hiccups when he speaks, nodding as she agrees. Thatās what she meant. The joyous moment seems dampened and Derek doesnāt know why. Cordelia shrinks away from him looking hurt, her scent changing again.Ā āCorrieā¦I want to take care of you. I want to be there for you this time.ā he says touching her hand.Ā
She doesnāt mean to place a dark shadow over their happiness, but she canāt help herself. After losing their cub before, some sort of switch has been flipped upon discovering her pregnancy, and she isnāt sure what it is. Mostly, sheās just tired. Cordelia knows Derek loves her sincerely, but for as long as theyāve been together she feels like sheās been put second. Now she is finally carrying his child, a moment that should make her fill with pride, but she finds herself worrying about their offspring, about how hurt it will be when they discover their father has children that are much more accepted than it would be.Ā āIām sorry.ā She sighed.Ā āI just.. I thought that we would be togetherĀ by now. You said... when all of your cubs were finally grown-ā Her voice cracks.Ā āThat youād be with me.. i have been waiting so long to be able to do this at a semi-accurate time so iām gonna put basically what i thought about season 4/5 (they all blur together when you binge watch) into one big spiel under the cut - mostly organized by character but whatever.
KIRA was the cutest thing ever to me when she was introduced. iām always happy to see more poc cast, even though she was BASICALLY pikachu which feels a little cliche, but whatever. i love her fashion sense, her perpetually dark nails, her bubbly and over-the-top personality, and (hello!) the fact that sheās a kitsune! yaaaay kitsunes! so, iām thinking, hell yeah, another cool person to be scottās love interest now that allisonās gone. but 1.) she replaced allison wayyy too fast 2.) scott never ONCE pushed her away thru his grieving process? rly? 3.) why does she always stop and smile/pose when she gets a good hit in? 4.) why did she get so annoying this season? || i found myself starting to really dislike kira at the end of the season. i guess because she kept leaving and coming back and having to ~find herself~ and i think that itās unnecessary. there was already a lot of drama going on (both human and supernatural) this season.. so it just felt weird. i felt a disconnect and i donāt like her like i did.
SCOTTĀ is scott. i like that he didnāt blame stiles once he got the full self defense story.. but 1.) duh. sciles is THE brotp. like theyād stay broken up and 2.) he was a little bit of a bitch and didnāt get the full story even though nobody trusted theo anyway.. but damn.. theo was a good liar holy shit. anyway, i like that scott STILL has kept his morals but iām glad heās finally accepting that there may be a body count for keeping everyone safe.
PARRISHĀ is my baby. i donāt like that he technically isĀ ādeadā or whatever but heās my pure lil (extra toasted) cinnamon roll and i love him.
LYDIAĀ is also my baby, but iām a little pissed about her for reasons that everyoneās expressed - lydia can now kick ass with martial arts, use her voice as a weapon, predict death, and have a super genius mind.. and yet, it seems like all the writers have her doing is figuring out stuff too late and being hospitalized. iām ready for her to REALLY, REALLY kick ass and save the day - like her almost eichen escape on cocaine... iāll wait.. yāall better not kill her off i s2g.
STILESĀ was awesome this season. I donāt have much to say about him because his scenes are blurry but I loved the scene where we got to see that his momās disease caused her to be paranoid about him. hope we get to see more flashbacky stuff. wonder how that affected his personality.

HAYDENĀ ok i was saving hayden for last because let me tell you!!!! based on the rp blogs iāve seen for hayden i didnt think iād like her??? i was likeĀ āugh i hope she dies this seasonā but anyways, now that iāve seen it, iām pretty happy about her!!! like sheās not too soft and she doesnāt try to be cutesy or overly feminine but sheās also not a TOTAL tomboy and sheās not COMPLETELY rough around the edges. sheās open minded but stubborn af and i love how sheās willing to make her own decisions!! like, even though sheās in puppy love with liam she doesnāt automatically side with him until she gets the information she needs to make the decision herself. also, when she started bleeding mercury after kissing liam by the bus, like.. im ngl.. i was thinking about erica and cora and how much i just missed having a plain olā badass she wolf on the show and why did everyone have to be a kitsune or a chimera.. but anyways, sheās a wolf now and iām really excited to see where things go with her!
HAYDEN/LIAMĀ cute at first but it also feels forced now? idk all the ships on the show are lacking something for me this season? maybe it was because the actual evil thing and all the other life or death plots were riding shotgun so relationships and character development had to take a backseat?? maybe next season i will get back into the ships again idk.
SEASON FIVEĀ yeah.. this is my least favorite season? but it wasnāt bad. it just wasnāt good. my favorite season was probably 3, and then 2, and then 1, and then 4, and then 5. woo!!! ready 4 season 6!!!!

Iāve done it, everyone. After seeing season one of teen wolf my junior year of high school, not watching any more of it, and then starting over with season in december 2015 - i have, as of march 10, 2016, OFFICIALLY caught up with the show.
