Diplomatic relations? Politics? All of this sounded like a career that required two things out of him. He probably needed a degree which was next to impossible since he was a dropout, and there was no way he was planning on going back to school regardless of whatever career opportunities that could open up for him. Then there was the possibility that he needed to conform to the whole suit and tie deal. But forget that! A suit would erase everything thatâs Dandy, and putting a restriction on his identity was a no go for him!

Sure, it sounds exciting, and probably makes a whole lot of sense on paper, but Iâm guessinâ thereâs gonna be way too many hoops Iâve gotta jump through to make something like that happen. âSides, knowing me Iâd probably cause some international incident. Oh, this was beginning to feel like a lost cause! There were other options for a high school dropout for him, but why bother? The life of working nine to five jobs wasnât ideal for a man who craved excitement and adventure! "Dream weaving is a dangerous game! Itâs not as simple as picking up a pair of knitting needles, and stitching yourself a quilt full of endless possibilities! Get that âknit one, purl oneâ business out of my face, because your sweater full of stitched lies wonât fit on me! But what if there comes a time where youâre overwhelmed by those copious amounts of dream laced yarn, and youâre put in a situation where you have to knit yourself that life changing scarf? Do you pick up those knitting needles, and get to work on weaving those new dreams?! NO!â
"Knitting is for grannies and suckers. Why waste all that precious time when you couldâve bought yourself a sewing machine? You see, Hime, you donât need to create new dreams when itâs much more faster repairing the broken dreams youâve already had before! Or even modify them to make it better than it once was! Thereâs no use on starting a new dream when I can simply cover my old ones with a patch, and make âem good as new, and thatâs just what I plan to do, baby!"
"âŚBuuuut just so Iâm not leaving you in the dark with my mindblowing ideology, Iâve decided that perhaps thereâs a way I can still put my alien hunting expertise to use, but put a spin on it! Like getting into the bounty hunter business! This city and itâs residents can rest easy knowing Dandy will always be here to bring the scum of this planet to justice! However, this isnât an one man job! Oh no! I need people who can watch my back! Like a crew! And I canât think of a better addition to my crew than you, Hime babe. So whatâdya say?!â
Hime kept smiling, tilting her head a little at the fearless space pilot who had been reduced to pretty much a nobody. Sure it wasn't fair, but everyone had to adapt, they couldn't all live the lives they had been living, it would never work out in a pace as large as this. She really needed to snap him out of that mind set before felt the need to take drastic measures.
"W-well, there really isn't much paperwork for it... and I d-don't then you would make trouble at all. As l-long as you remember to-" Oh dear, she had been too slow and cautious with her words. It was too late, and Hime could only watch in stunned silence as Dandy began his tirade on dreams. "B-but dreams a-aren't like yarn... ah, um... ok....er, Dandy?" Not much seemed to be getting through to him, but his ferocity was only increasing, making Hime back up a few paces from the sheer spirit of this man. "That's a big dream to repair, but I s-still think you can do it! Um, b-but maybe it's too big for me..."
Wait, had he just offered her a position? Well, Dandy was one of her best friends, but Hime was still unsure about what could possibly be a half baked idea. "M-me? But I can't really d-do anything about capturing aliens... a-and I wouldn't want to hurt them e-either! I don't think I would be really good for your crew... a-are you sure you want to do this? Not all aliens are bad now though... a lot c-can be really nice!"
You awake to discover 4 or 5 presents stowed away in your abode, all of which have been boxed in pristine, vibrantly wrapped boxes adorned with bows. Some of these boxes contain: an assortment of dresses that will fit your form, various hair ornaments and ribbons and a bouquet of flowers. (This is not to be published or responded to until the 25th. Merry Christmas!)
"Oh wow, even m-more gift from Santa! Oh yay, and pants and d-dresses too!"
"W-wait⌠does this mean I should be getting presentâs for other people? Equius⌠and Dandy⌠and everyone! Theyâll all b-be really upset!"
Delivered to Himeno is a very cute ribbon adorned and festive box. If she were to open it, she would find a few sturdy and incredibly fashionable coats, some cute hair ribbons and clips, and a small bottle of fragrant smelling perfume. The box is labeled "Merry Christmas, from Elesa"

It's n-nice to meet you."

Oh, was that some people playing two vs two basketball over there? Hime hadn't even realized there was a hoop nailed to that lamp post. It looked like a lot of fun actually. She needed to get into some sports for excersise, other end just running, which didn't really count. At least being the only centaur here, she was the fastest runner by a long shot. Besides, team sports were a great way to make friends! "Ahh, that l-looks like fun... I wonder if I cold join..." Hime mused quietly.Â
Unfortunately, she remembered all too well how the last game of basketball she had played went.
"Hime catch!" *Ker-bonk*Â
At least it counted for an assist if her forehead sunk the ball. She was woken from such a painful memory when Hime realized there was another girl besides her too. "Oh, w-were you watching also?"
Was that a crunching noise Hime heard, like her hooves had just crushed someone's spilled candy. She lifted up her leg to check.
"Awww, someone's tic-tacs..."
"It didnât workâŚ.? Huh, must not be a pokemon then. Weird." He ran over, and bowed in respect in a apologetic way before he began his true apology. "Iâm so sorry for throwing that at you! I thought you were a pokemon, so wanted to catch you! You look like one of the pokemon that are from my world, so got over-excited! Iâm so sorry!"
"W-what? But you hit me on the h-head!" How was that not working, unless the ball was supposed to do something other then just hurt a bunch.
At least he was apologizing. "A pokemon?" Was that his word for centaur? But if it was, why would he want to catch them? Both those revelations were very concerning to Hime. Walking right up to the relatively small boy, she frowned at him. "T-that's not nice at all! You'll get executed for t-trying to capture a centaur. W-we're no pets or slaves!"

"Owwwoieee... w-who did that?" All she had heard was 'Pokeball GO!' before being hit in the face with what she could assume was this pokeball, which had hopefully be tosses accidental, and not aimed for her. "P-please watch where you throw those!"

  Wide hazel eyes shrieked, and the Poncleâs mouth widened. Thus began a dance to not get crushed to death. âCut that out! Stop moving around, dang it!â He was almost sure of it now. This was a demon he was dealing with! âIâll give ya a finger lickinâ taste of myâ toothpick!â
 âHey, stop! What the heck, calm down or something!â Now that was too close for comfort. Eager to distance himself from those wandering hooves, he lunged for protective ground, his glow intensifying the harder his heart pounded.
"B-but what am I doing?" Hime stopped moving, unsure if that would help anything. Getting poked with a toothpick sounded a lot worse then her other option: not getting poked with a toothpick. Strangely, things seemed to calm down when she stopped moving. Or, maybe that was just cause she wasn't panicking as much any more. "W-where are you?" Had she bumped into a ghost with a toothpick without noticing it? No, it was a glowy thing on the ground, but way too tiny to be the person who had spoken to her. Hime bent down to pick them up, shocked to realize that it actually was! She cupped her hands to hold them at face level with her.
"Oh no! D-did a witch cast a mean spell on you?" That was usually why people ended up tiny or shrunk. Darn witches.
You simply shrug at the girl.
VRISKAÂ : Well, it depends on the person which quadrant is most important, I guess. A lot of us see them as equal, honestly.
Her next question changes your casual aura to one substantially more fevered and distressed. Grey skin flushes cerulean, and you splutter broken syllables before being able to get out any discernible words.
VRISKA: I-Thatâs not - That is DEFINITELY something I am not qualified to answer!!!!!!!!
"Oh, um, ok." Hime's blood went cold as the troll covered her mouth. This could only be bad, and from her gasping creation, Hime was already in tears before the troll even said a word that she could understand. Once she actually heard her, it was even worse.
"Ahhh! I'm sorry, I'm s-sorry!" Now they were both blushing and sputtering idiots. "I j-just wanted t-to know.... ahhh, if i-it was all right!"Â

He smiled and bowed his head a little in apology. The last he wanted to do was upset someone by using the wrong terminology.

â Itâs not a problem. I understand quadrants are tricky to grasp if youâre a different species. Matespritship would be the appropriate term, but as long as the two of you are happy with your relationship, it doesnât really matter what you call it. â
Honestly, the fact a Troll was in an Interspecies relationship with a Centaur made him oddly happy. Maybe his kind were finally letting go of their old, intolerant ways.
"W-wait, really?" Hime was a tad confused. "B-but some trolls have centaur parents... t-that's who raised my bo-... matesprite. You don't know about that?" Maybe it was a regional thing. No reason to assume that Equius had been lying, when just mentioning his dad sometimes brought tears to his eyes. And so did lots of things.
"It d-doesn't?" Aww, but Hime had been so proud of the fact that she was saying it right. "B-but I just wanted to make sure I w-was saying the right thing. I t-think... that rules l-like that are really important to him. And me t-to. I haven't met anyone who's from my world t-though... so Equius r-really makes me feel at home. Ah, t-that his name. Equius... isn't it r-romantic?" Hime gave a happy sigh, content to talk about them all day, even in the presence of a stranger, who she probably should have been playing more attention too.

Uhg, what a tangled mess. Hime tugged at her hair, the sides of which had become two wild and untamed in just a few weeks. She almost cried when they had to resort to using garden scissors to trim it. Never mind the fact that her body hair was out of control, but was also too wooly for normal razors. If another person asked about making a coat out of the stuff, she just might scream. Seeing this stranger, a girl she had never laid eyes on before, actually made her want to scream too, but this time with joy. It was just what she had been wishing for.
"Oh w-wow, that's a big size scissor! Are you a m-multi species barber?" That was exactlywhat Hime had been needing.

She feels soft, almost fragile in comparison, so it with great care when you grip her chin. Trying your best, your lips merely brush against hers at first, at least until she leans in, an indication that youâre not at all being too forceful or rough. When you break apart for air, she takes you in a gentle hug. You cannot help but wonder if something is amiss, though, for her ears twitch and heart pounds against you.
âI must warn you that the situation might prove to be awkward due to our differences in species. I am, of course, fine with you being in the red quadrant with me, but you do realize that our traditions are likely much different.â Even so, you are gentle, if your crooked grin is any indication. A hand reaches out to touch Himenoâs hair, fingers running through individual strands before resting contentedly against her shoulder and neck. âSo, ah, yes, consider me your matesprit and your boyfriend.â
"I d-don't care, I... I still love you... er, um... red quadrant y-you. A-and I'm your matesprite t-too... and girlfriend!" They had to be equally accountable in this relationship, and Hime wouldn't let him take all the burden. Equiu's life hadn't been all cherries and roses either, so it was important they both supported each other. Thinking about that made her a little less nervous... but still... that mention of 'traditions.'
"Umm, b-but Equius... w-what do... I... w-what do matesprites do exactly... uh, w-when they a-are alone..." Hime hugged him tightly again, turning her head to look up to Equiu's face. "Ah, d-do... do... do w-we  keep kissing, or... um... I..." Gulping down, she closed her eyes to gather courage. "It's j-just that... I've n-never... I.... y-you... um done t-that. Er, I... " Well, she didn't even know if he know what act she was eluding too. Maybe trolls just kissed as cuddled, and that was it. That would make this easy wouldn't it? Still, she had been curious about... doing it... every since she talked it over with her friends. Surly that would bring them even closer together. And if she was, Hime wanted her first time to be with someone like Equius, someone who she really trusted and loved.
