Did you know that Cambridge is the cycling capital of the UK with over 80 miles of dedicated cycle lanes and routes?  Unfortunately, it also holds the top spot as “the worst place for bike theft!”.  Approximately 20% of all reported crime within Cambridge city is bike theft (and it’s probably higher since not everyone reports it). So, with these two facts in mind, I went and got myself a “not so stealable bike” that officially makes me one more rider for cars to look out for! Today rules have eased a little here in the UK and the sun came out to celebrate!!  The weather was lovely so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to walk around the city centre for a bit and wandered into Portugal Place, a charming little street set right behind bridgescambridge. I’ve been here for a few months now but with everything that’s going on in the world I haven’t really had the chance to explore the city as much as I’d like to and there is so much more to discover.
