continuing on, i do like aimie’s howard better than sam’s in terms of choreography. aimie has a lot more “sexy moves” that fit into the tune of the song more while sam seemed a little stiff with some of her movements. i think sam definitely puts a lot more swagger than playfulness into her interpretation, she definitely comes off a little more condescending. with singing though, they both sound really really good !! sam can riff it out better than aimie can but she doesn’t have the raspiness that aimie sometimes put into her performances. sam’s howard is also a lot angrier than aimie’s when it comes to the last chorus, the one about thomas culpeper; aimie’s howard is evidently disappointed and disheartened at how yet another man is treating her badly, but sam’s howard is mad --- she’s stomping her feet, the way she pushes everyone’s hands off of her body is really aggressive, and the only time the audience sees her vulnerable is when she starts crying at the end  ( different from how any uk howard just gasps before "losing their head” when they look up ). it’s also really weird to see such a tall howard when it comes to sam lol but that doesn’t have any correlation whatsoever to any of my critiques i think.

in other news, collette finally got her cleves costume after eight months of being in the show and it is Hot
