i didn’t fully understand what you meant by stage play in your original ask, i thought you meant his screentime in the show itself, therefore that’s why i addressed that part specifically. if Riot products is what you’re talking about, then i’ll have you know that i’m simply not keeping up with Riot anymore, and i haven’t in a hot minute because quite frankly they piss me off with how they treat their employees. but the more i think about it, the more i realize you’re right in pointing out that Ekko himself doesn’t have many products coming out. but how does me being unaware = supporting erasure? to me that just means i should open my eyes more, because i do get fixated on Jinx products only for obvious reasons. i don’t think i need to mention how Jinx is a major cash cow for Riot. i’d say she’s a bigger cash cow than Vi/Caitvi.

point me to those people then. show me people i associate myself/interact with who dislike Ekko as a black man and not Ekko as a character, because i can’t think of anyone i’m close to who even dislikes his character.

really love the series btw even if only one chapter is out, i keep going back to reread it because i simply can’t get enough of it. you’re writing throughout the fic was simply amazing and i can’t wait to see what else you have in store for the series

i can definitely confirm that this video HEAVILY showcases reader’s thoughts and feelings before going through with the breakup. the thing with her and Jinx is that there was a lot of miscommunication/lack of communication on both parts.

YES Jinx was lost in her projects a lot of the time, but that’s just… Jinx. it’s what she does. she wasn’t taking reader for granted, per se, because to her that was just being comfortable and feeling safe enough to simply exist in each other’s presence. reader, of course, has her own insecurities and saw it from a completely different perspective. they were both just letting it pass and brushing off their concerns as overthinking, or believing this is how things go in long-term relationships—but as we know it just boiled over.

i would like to finish this mini series one day, and i can tell you that they will have a heart to heart at some point in it with LOTS of angst (but not only 👀). and while we’re here, let me tell you: the majority of the angry type of tension is actually between them and Vi (+ Cait) following the reveal. the tension between Jinx and reader is more… awkward instead 😭 no matter how mad they want to be at one another over how things turned out, there’s still a lot of love preventing that.
