#wolf pup

This is what I feel it would go:

Jason was walking around Camp Jupiter and he was near a lake when he heard tiny whimpers. He looked around trying to figure out if his head is playing games with him or it was actually real. Then he heard it again, it was near this bush about a mile away. He walked to the bush and crouched down to see if there was anything in sight.

As he pushed around leaves, he saw this tiny thing curled up. At first he though it was some squirrel but as he picked it up it turned out to be a little wolf pup. It's left hind leg was injured and the pup had a few other wounds too.

"What could've happened to you, bud?" Jason asked himself as he carried the pup to the medical wing.

As he walked he couldn't help but notice that the pup was still a little too young to be by itself it looked about six weeks and pups are typically left alone in their den by 8 to 9 weeks of being born. As he got to the medical wing he greeted one of the nurses and asked if by any chance there could be a way to help the pup.

The nurse which on her name tag read Jaime said yes and took the pup into her hands. She told Jason to wait on the chair as she talked to the avaliable doctors. Jason sat down and simply waited, his leg kept bouncing up and down anxiety building for the little pup.

About 30 minutes later, Nurse Jaime came back with a smile. She handed Jason a clipboard with signing papers that read in the lines of that he was the temporarily guardian of the pup until it healed. Jason signed it and gave back to Nurse Jaime.

"Thank you, the pup is stable just minor injuries and it's hind leg had a tiny fracture but that'a it." Nurse Jaime said as she lead Jason to the room the pup was in.

The pup was wide awake tearing the bedsheets with it's sharp nails. It's ears perked up as it smelled a familiar scent. The pup started chirping and it's tail started to wag.

When Jason entered it jumped despite it's small fracture and started licking Jason's face in delightness. Jason fell to the ground holding the pup as it licked him all over the face. Jason felt laughter build up and suddenly he was laughing as the pup licked him.

"Alright, alright that's enough!" Jason exclaimed as he pulled the pup away from his face.

The pup was still chirping and wagging it's tail in pure joy to smell the one who saved it. Jason stood and placed the pup back onto the cot. Jason was gently scratching the back of the pup's ear, it's tiny tongue slipped out drool pooling on the sheets beneath it.

The doctor who treated the pup came in and talked with Jason. His name tag read Daniel, Doctor Daniel started to speak, he talked about how to take care of the wounds and to not let the pup put pressure on it's hind leg.

"The pup is a boy so if you want to give the pup a name you can go ahead and do that." Doctor Daniel said as him and the nurse silently slipped out of the room.

Jason looked at the boy pup and thought deeply about a name he could give this gray cute pup. He picked up the pup and kept scratching the back of his ear. Jason thought abou the gray sky and then he got the perfect name.

Thunder.

Thunder would be this pup's name, Thunder was oblivious to the world and was melting into his touch, his toungue still dragging out.

"Thunder, that will be your name." Jason said to Thunder who looked up at him with blue icy eyes.

Thunder chirped in delight, he liked the name, Jason thought. Thunder cuddled deeper in Jason's arms and slowly fell asleep. Jason smiled at Thunder and walked back to his place.

Jason walked into his barrack and laid the pup on his his cot and watched him sleep peacefully. Jason knew he was going to love this pup until the day he died.
