Yet, not so...

A light, echoey cooing sound came from the air. It sounded like something your mind could make up at this hour. A bird of sorts flying high has made a presence. It seemed to have been holding something in its claws.

Suddenly, down it came. A small paper, rolled up like a scroll fell in front of a sorrowful statue so lifelike. The bird, flying further away out of sight.

The paper was adorned with some sort of twine and dark shimmering wax stamped on to keep it sealed. The paper looked worn. Within it, held some form of message:

"You are cold, Child. However, you are still warm. Body cracked and cursed, but living. There is still light inside you.

This is confusing for you, surely.

I know you hurt, I know you no longer have the knowledge you once harboured.

The things you once loved.

The things you cared for.

The people, in which received these things from none other than you.

You will feel those things again.

You will heal. You will not be like before, but you will be you.

In time, you will once again *know*.

I see it. I know.

Oh Angel who weeps, may you fly anew."

They hold the letter in their hand, reading it quietly. Before speaking out, they had no fear. They knew whoever sent it was listening.

"I... appreciate the sentiment. Truly. But i cant not bring myself to believe your words. My body is nothing but stone now, my skin is cracked, my heartbeat barely there."

"Stone wings can't fly. Too heavy to soar through the sky."

They hold the letter close to their heart. Staying quiet for a long moment before speaking again.

"I had a family once. I dont remember anything about them. Not really. But I had a husband and a little one."
