MARAS is a unique title within the Arvandus line,  acting as both name and role. a title not inherited by blood but by worth and will. to outsiders it sounds like a test of one’s character and intellect when it in truth is more...complex. Maras is the shared name between both lord of the Arvandus line and unseen patron. addressed commonly as They or She, the original Maras is an entity uniquely tied to cosmos beyond human knowledge, giving metaphorical birth to the ‘family’ line as a means to closely observe mortals and judge them. it’d be adequate to say they worry for lesser beings in a matronly fashion. their unique disposition to mortals being unlike their kind has led to the current holder of the Maras name to refer to them as Ma, a jab at their doting mother attitude.
