OutServe Magazine: The New DADT: The Military’s Ban on Transgender Servicemembers
Excellent article profiling transgender people, both active and veterans, in the military. With DADT gone, this is obviously the next major milestone to aim for.
Guys
I am going to alter the set post soon. People are upset that I said I was open to corrections but aren't changing them. I have not been as active on tumblr as I used to be, and if I am active it's on my main blog. I have a life and will get around to it very soon.
I will be changing:
Heterosexual to sexual attraction to someone of a different binary gender.
Polysexual to sexual attractions to multiple, but not all genders.
I also will make a side post about the definitions and why I chose to present them how I did. that link will then be added to the description, so look out for that as well.
I'll probably do this all now while I'm in the mood.
Hey, we're a blog that posts ''coming out'' letters and we're just spreading the word on it. It'd be cool if you could support it in any way you can. There's many stories and lives on here so you might find some inspiration in it too. Thank you. Happy New Year :) -notesfrominsidethecloset

WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health) – This is a link to the new Standards of Care, which has provisions for gender-non-conforming people who want top surgery. http://www.wpath.org/publications_standards.cfm

Hmmm….in my hypothetical world where I do have top surgery, I would choose Fisher. It seems as if this is possible.
For those people needing or considering top surgery…
Ideas ?
So, the maximum number of pictures you can use for a photoset is ten, but the number of gender identities I want to include exceeds ten.
What should I do. Any ideas?
Help ?
I'm doing the next set. This one will be for gender identity and expression.
I've gone through most of what I want included. If you're curious to what I'm including click read more down there.
I understand the basic idea of someone being neutrois, but as I did more research I became very confused. When I started I knew neutrois as someone who wants to be completely gender neutral and thus wants to eliminate all physical aspects of their sex so their body is ambiguous. But as I read different interpretations of the word I became less sure.
So I come to you, people of tumblr, to give me your definition of neutrois.

(Video) Child PWNS commercialized gender-marketing …
I am so sorry for asking... But for demisexuality, what is the first and second part of attraction?
Primary sexual attraction is sexual attraction based off of what is instantly available. That would include how someone dresses, looks like, so on. Secondary sexual attraction is developed over time as you get to know someone.
Okay, I'm sorry, I have tried to get this but I REALLY don't. Bisexuals are attracted to both men and women. But saying that you're pansexual just means that you're bisexual, unless you're implying there's a third (or more) gender. I know there's genderqueer (people who feel vaguely 'genderless' and dress/act appropriately) but that's not really a gender... So what are the other genders, other than male and female? (also nice job leaving out asexual in your chart... :/)
Okay, I’m sorry, I have tried to get this but I REALLY don’t. Bisexuals are attracted to both men and women
> False, many bisexuals attracted to genders outside of the binary.
I know there’s genderqueer (people who feel vaguely ‘genderless’ and dress/act appropriately) but that’s not really a gender
> Being genderqueer does not equal genderless. A genderqueer may be genderless, but not all genderless people are genderqueer.
> It is a gender. If you’re not open to it at all and leave no possibility in your mind that it is then there’s no point in me trying to explain it.
(also nice job leaving out asexual in your chart… :/)
> If you read the description you’d know asexual, grey-a, and romantic identities would be in a different set.

why do you find it necessary separate sexuality into all those different categories? do you really think human sexuality can be divided up and labeled like this? and why does it MATTER? who the fuck cares if I'm skoliosexual and polysexual and pansexual? why do you feel the need to DIAGNOSE everyone's sexuality, like it's a disease? fuck that. I refuse to believe sexuality is that simple. I think the labeling is totally counterproductive.
You have the right to think whatever you want. I never said that you had to label yourself or you had to do anything. I never said you have to believe in labels or anything else. You can do whatever the heck you want.
No one told you it’s simple. No one’s making you think it’s simple and no one is “diagnosing."
But you know what? Some people like labels. Some people are comfortable with their own labels. Some people find it easier to label themselves. Some people use labels as a way to find and understand themselves. And some do not, and that’s fine.
You are not all people or some people. You are you and you can do whatever you want. No one is forcing you to label yourself anything. That’s your choice.
I made it for people who use labels for themselves or want to educate themselves on terminology used within the community. I didn’t make it for you and I didn’t make it to force people to label themselves.
The problem I have with the definition are: You made hetero/homosexuality and andro/gynesexuality look like 4 different orientations, when in reality androphilia and gynephilia are things that are alternative terms for heterosexuality and homosexuality. Ex: a heterosexual man = gynephilic man. Homosexual man = androphilic man. Hetero sexual woman = androphilic woman. Homosexual woman = gynephilic woman. That's it :DD
Yes they are alternative identities to hetero/homosexual. But at the same time they can be used by nonbinary individuals to express their attraction towards a specific gender without having them labeled the same gender or different gender.
