Take a look at some before and after photos of an SMA tarmac driveway, completed by Formpave Driveways in Romsey, Hampshire.

We dug out the original driveway first. Then we installed new hardcore type 1 MOT base and compacted it down.

We topped the driveway with hot SMA tarmac and machine rolled it down to be completely smooth.

Buff Resin Bound Driveway in Southampton

Take a look at some during and after pictures of a resin bound driveway project, completed by Formpave Driveways in Southampton.

First we took out the original driveway and laid a new hardcore base. We installed a double Charcoal block paving border around the perimeter of the driveway.

We installed a new tarmac base and let it dry.

When that process was finished, we applied a layer of resin bound Buff chippings and leveled the whole surface to be completely smooth.

Two Neighbouring Block Paving Driveways in Locks Heaths, Southampton

Here and some before and after photos of two block paving driveways, completed simultaneously by Formpave Driveways in Locks Heaths, Southampton.

First we dug out both of the existing driveways. Then we installed new hardcore type 1 MOT bases with heavy duty membrane underneath.

We installed new double Light Grey borders around the perimeter of the driveways and in between, to separate them from each other.

Finally we laid both driveways in a 90° pattern using Charcoal paving bricks for the main area.

Tarmac Driveway with White Chippings in Southampton

Take a look at some during and after pictures of this tarmac driveway project, completed by Formpave Driveways in Southampton.

After removing the original surface, we put down new hardcore base with membrane sheeting underneath.

We created a Red brick border around the perimeter of the driveway with the same coloured apron at the entrance.

We filled the driveway area with hot tarmac with some interspersed white chippings.

To finish the job we machine rolled the whole surface to be perfectly smooth.

Autumn Gold Driveway in Fareham, Portsmouth

This block paving driveway project has been recently finished by Formpave Driveways in Fareham, Portsmouth.

First we removed the original surface and laid down new type 1 MOT hardcore base. After compacting it down, we installed new flat top kerbing and a decorative double Charcoal/single Autumn Gold/single Charcoal border.

We laid the main driveway in a 45° herringbone pattern using the same Autumn Gold paving blocks.

Here are some example of Formpave Driveways’ latest block paving driveway projects in Harefield, Southampton.

We started each of these jobs by removing the original driveways and laying new type 1 MOT base. Then we installed the various Charcoal and Brindle borders, as seen above.

This block paving patio has been recently finished by Formpave Driveways in Burley, Southampton.

First we dug out all of the original concrete paths and laid down new hardcore foundations. Then we topped it with a bed of sand and screeded it down.

We laid the patio in a 90° pattern using Charcoal paving blocks for the main bulk and Light Grey for the contrasting border. We also included a decorative Brindle pattern in the layout.

Finally, we installed new wooden fencing with concrete slopes, that will provide enough of privacy around the property.

After digging out the original driveway, we laid down a new base of crushed stone with a membrane underneath. This will prevent any unwanted weed growth. We topped the base with sand and compacted it down.
