Prim swallowed and fidgeted her fingers. “Katniss wouldn’t have had to fight to the death, she wouldn’t have nightmares at night, she wouldn’t have to get married, she wouldn’t have to get chased by mutations or nearly die. I-I just sometimes feel like it’s my fault that she went through this.” she said, scrunching her mouth to the side and running a hand through her hair. “Besides, it wouldn’t really matter if I was dead in the arena.” she mumbled to herself.

"Yes it would matter, Prim. It may be true that she wouldnt have to go through any of that, but you would in her place. She knew the risks and, though they may be greater than she anticipated, shes still going through all of this to keep you safe and happy. She loves you prim, you and your mother are her world. With out you two and your support, she might not have made it through the first games let alone the second." He looked at her intently. "Prim, i know things seem like they're your fault but believe me, its not. You didnt start the games, you didnt pick your name. None of this is your fault. Its the Capitols....Remember that."
