She  chokes  on  the  final  utterance  of  sister’s  name,  waiting  until  she’s  in  the  taxi  before FINALLY  allowing  the  dam  to  break.

“If you’re looking for the techno and synth sections, they’re on that wall near the corner.” Andi called from behind the counter of the music store, a small store, various shelves with CDs on them, as well as a wall near the back with vinyl. In the middle were more display racks with even more music. Some shirts and memorabilia were on the walls too. “If you came for the Gavinners’s signing, that ended about an hour ago.”

The  optimistic  young  woman  is  still  there  (  and  I  try  my  damndest  to  write  a  mix  of    the  two  together  in  a  believable  way  )  but  she’s  just  had  some  shit  thrown  at  her  over  the  course  of  her  life  so  she’s  had  to  harden  up.
