Cisco couldn’t help but smile, hugging Julian back tightly. “It may help that you practically never take a day off.” He was teasing Julian, obviously. “Go the bedroom, I have the suit in there… I wanna see if it fits and then we can go.” He said, smirking lightly. 

“Of course I don’t. I love my work. But now that Joe is Captain, I think I’ll give myself a few more breaks. Singh kinda frightened me sometimes.” He chuckles before turning to head into the bedroom, coming back out a few minutes later as he adjusted his tie. 

“And you’re taking the day off. I got too many plans for you and me for you not to. I also made you  suit– a regular one– like one you can wear to work.” Cisco is 1000% extra and always willing to spoil his partners.

“Hey you okay?” She asked seeing  his face “I’m sorry bringing up  parents  I won't  do that again. But yes me and caity  worked  things out and we are like  sisters  if you  mess with her you will freeze or die depended  on  what you  do to her if she didn't  stop me our recent  meta would  have  been  killed  slowly  and painfully." 

“Hm? Yeah I’m fine. They just...they didn’t really know what to think of Alchemy is all.” He taps his temple a few times. “They didn’t really know what to think of anything I told them really. Well they are proud that I have a good job at the CCPD and that I’m happy where I am.”

Albert wasn’t sure how to respond to all that. It was good at least that Julian wasn’t angry.

   “It won’t be as different. Most of what I lost hasn’t got any value to you or Wally.” 

   “You don’t have to worry about me any more.”

“Everything about you holds a lot of value to me. And to Alchemy too, even though he won’t admit it.” But it was Al’s decision and his alone and he made the best choice he could in the situation he was in. That’s the best anyone can do really.

Julian just watches Al for a few seconds, looking around the room at all the reminders that he has put around the house. He’s not stupid, he’d noticed something was off since the beginning, but just waved it off as Al needing to recover.

He lets out a sigh after a few quiet minutes of processing things and gives him a small smile. “I’m not mad you did this. I get why. Alvin’s nothing like Alchemy ended up being and you just wanted to make sure once and for all he wouldn’t come out again. I’m not going to lie that I’m not upset, but that’s only cause I worry about you. A lot.” He moves to sit next to him.

She pulled  back  and  shakes her head “hey welcome  back how was your  trip  to  visit  your  family?” She said  having  weird  emotional  breaks since  her father  passed. She wasn't  letting  the  feeling  out so she  been  both loving  and  moody  at the  same  time.

Glowing eyes glance over at Cisco as he’s hugged and kissed, a blush appearing on his cheeks. He still has no clue how to react to affection like this, but he tries anyway, returning the hug. He clears his throat and looks to the side.

Al ran his fingers over Julian’s scalp and kissed his forehead softly.

   “Luckily for them research is one of your areas of expertise.”

If he was a cat he’d be purring right now, but instead he’s just going to lean up into his boyfriend’s touch.

Cisco hugged Julian tightly, swallowing thickly as tears welled in his eyes. “Metahuman or not you go the powers to go with it, so you’re stuck in this little club,” he said softly. “And even our non meta teammates and friends die– like Eddie– and HR,” He pointed out with a frown.

“I’m fine being stuck in this little club. I’ve never had this many friends before and I really love it.” Even though it started out rough with Barry, and Alchemy was an unwelcome presence for a short while, he’s happy with where he is now.

“I guess it’s just part of the job and I hate saying that. But I don’t have any plans on dying anytime soon. Or giving Alchemy up.” His eyes glow a light blue and he smirks.

  “No of course not.” Al hugged the blond back gently and looked around the house.

   “Thank you for taking care of the animals while I was gone… You did a very good job.” He noticed Julian’s teary eyes and willed a tissue for him out of the air.

He buries his face into his chest, just enjoying being with Al again. He lets out a shaky chuckle, nodding his head a bit.
