i will probably resume liveblogging sometime this thursday/friday, i'm still kind of recuperating from the get-together i hosted on friday, but at said get-together i put on the first episode of unsleeping city so my friends had some entertainment/background noise while i finished up the food and here were the takes i overheard:
(about lugash) "he looks like if carl from up was on steroids"
(during pete's intro) "is this the shrooms or is this going to be important to the plot later?" (me from the kitchen: "yes!")
(about sofia) "we love a strong female heroine"
"i love how they went to all the trouble of building a little city"
(immediately after brennan spoke in wally's voice) "oh my god this guy's gonna destroy his vocal chords doing all these voices" (my other friend: "wait isn't that the guy who plays the ceos?")
"i'm going to make a d&d character called E-Boy who has main character syndrome and he's going to look like the guy i'm looking at right now" (he was referring to murph)
(immediately after the scene with kingston and lowell) "i can't believe we went from him enjoying his mom's cooking to this"
"so the guy named peter got bitten by a radioactive something at least" (admittedly this one was me but it was a conclusion to several spider-man jokes made by non-me people)
