Alice & Daniel; Little Talks
âGirl, I already left!â Danny had been couch jumping and aside from saving his galleons, it seemed more his style anyway. Staying in hotels was so⌠bougie, especially since heâs been mostly by himself. He long figured out that his friends had left before the travel ban, and it was sort of his fault that he was stuck for going to this exclusive party instead of leaving like he wanted. Besides, the Loch Ness Monsterâs still out there. âDo you think this place really caters to people like me who count their coins in public?â
âYou know, I donât know how long Iâve been here? Itâs been a while.â Danny tilted his head; she kept talking about Frank, and Danny wasnât exactly on the greatest of terms with the guy. She seemed to know something that he didnât, and there was just something a little creepy about her face. âWhat do you know about Frank-o? Itâs not like youâve been around here, you look kind of new â newer than me, thatâs for sureâŚ. So now I guess youâre just praying for a room to open up, yeah?â
He didnât really like the sound of someone else coming in to be that random new person, since Danny was just used to being that guy who comes in for a day and disappears. Sure, Quidditch Bro and Dom were nice people, but it was hard to think that he had to stay here long enough to consider them friends and hard to think that heâd have to leave eventually. He sighed and sipped at his beer â though sipping was putting it lightly as he finished half of it in two gulps. Where the fuck was Quidditch Bro?
Alice shrugged âThis place caters to everyone, really.â she admitted, which was true. They housed wizards and muggles, even muggles who had no idea that wizards existed. They donât deny service to anyone, unless absolutely necessary. It was actually pretty nice growing up there, youâre never alone. Sure, she and Frank were barely allowed in the bar area of the business when they were kids - but sneaking in or staying seated behind the bar was fun too.
Listening to what the other said, Alice smiled at him. She and Frank didnât really look alike, he looked more like their Father and she was more like their Mother. Sometimes she likes to mess with people and say Frank was just a friend who owes her money or something, but in the end, she admits to the truth. Sheâs not much of a liar, something Frank had to work with when they were kids. With that, she shrugged âI live here.â she admitted, no point of lying to him right now since she was in search of her brother after all âFrankâs my brother.â she then said, as she looked back at the bartender there and gave them a polite smile. A person who did know her just clocked in.
âAnyway...â the girl started, the siblings were practically trained to be polite and learn how to talk to their customers - considering they lived there and had to see, talk, and deal with a bunch or randoms every day âWhat brings you to our humble part of the woods?â she asked. The girl has just returned from her long trip away from the wizarding world, she usually knew everyone around their parts of the world - but a year, thatâs a long time to be gone. So, she wasnât sure if this person has already been here for a year or a month. Either way, sheâd like to get to know him somehow.
