💬 antithesis.kr Hello. As many of you might know already, Tae-ah officially decided to leave the group. It’s of course something that is going to affect us greatly, I would be a fool to deny it. I wouldn’t do psa about it tbh, but it really needs to be addressed that Tae-ah left willingly because this life of ours wasn’t healthy for him, and that we all are in good terms. Please do not spread rumors about us or Tae-ah that aren’t true, it hurts us to see that our fans and other people would think this ill of us. People leaves, group disband, it’s a sad reality of this world of ours that should be accepted even if it’s painful, or disappointing. I will never stop doing music, and so will Cronus, so please, the only thing I, as a human being, am asking is a little bit of respect and time to adjust ourselves to the changes that are going to be happening, and support whatever prokect or decision we might be wanting to bring forth,  Good night.

It’s a sudden news that has been leaving fans with no words or too much to scream –for nothing in the boys’ SNS has been letting us foresee such a thing to happen.

On Thursday June 30th an announcement has appeared on CRONUS’ official site and the official site of AOK Entertainment, communicating to the public that Moon Taehyun aka Kiddo, member of CRONUS since pre-debut, has requested the termination of his contract with AOK Entertaiment due to reasons that the CEO has preferred to keep reserved in order to respect Kiddo’s desire of further privacy on the matter, and has officially parted ways from CRONUS. The CEO also reassures that no bad blood between Kiddo and the members of CRONUS is present for the boy has decided for personal reasons to leave the group, and  a new member will be inserted in Kiddo’s place, selected personally by him in order to keep the remaining members of CRONIUS from having to rearrange all their lyrics.

Of course, the news has been spreading quick and fans have been already speculating what might have brought Kiddo to leave his long-term companions ( going from bringing back Morning’s known iljin attitude to eventual problems with lines distribution ),analyzing the recent week the former maknae has spent back with the family in the US and other behaviors considered ‘suspicious’ by the fans –but by seeing the heartfelt goodbyes of Kiddo himself and the other members of CRONUS on SNS the latters still following Kiddo’s SNS ( who has now made his profiles private ) and followed back by the ex-member, it seems more likely that the former maknae not only left in good terms ( which reassures the fans somehow ), but that perhaps the reasons behind his leave might be simply related to just not being fit to follow the rhythms of idol life.

The new member of CRONUS will be announced by AOK and CRONUS’ official medias on July 3rd 5PM KST –under the article we’ll offer the translation of the original letter of the CEO, and with that we just wish the best to Kiddo and his future, whatever career or dream he might decide to follow.

     “ This is CEO of AOK Entertainment Song Kibum-ssi, bringing forth to the fans of CRONUS an important news:

     Following a formal request of abrupt termination of contract before its due time which has been granted for motivation I do prefer to keep private in order to respect the wishes of the requester, I am dutifully mortified to announce that Moon Taehyun-ssi aka Kiddo, maknae of CRONUS, has officially decided to part ways from the group and leave the company. I do still invite the CRONUS fanbase to maintain a civilized behavior and not to harass and pry in any way in the boy’s SNS and CRONUS’ ones for motivation, for I can assure, as CEO and supervisor of all artists in my company, that the boys are still in excellent terms and that this separation has not hindered in any way the bond created between them.

     Due to being aware that CRONUS will have to rearrange the lines of their lyrics to match the remaining members, I myself have decided to consult the group and decide for a substitute within our hopeful trainees that wish to join the group in order to prevent the rewriting of the lines distribution and maintain the solid 6 members status of the group. CRONUS schedule for the month will go on regularly with the new addition so please, be supportive and welcoming to the new member that will be announced via our official media channels on July3rd, 5PM KST.

     AOK Entertainment, its staff and artists still do wish Taehyun-ssi good luck and best wishes with whatever his future endeavors will be, and that the doors of the company will always be opened for him to return to. ”
