Some of you may have noticed my absence, some may haven’t. Either way here’s a current update:

Last month I lost somebody very essential to my life and my entire world got turned upside down and not two weeks later we lost my best friends’ mom and between exuberant funeral costs and my car being taken by the city and me being sick for 3 weeks (I’ll spare you the details but it’s a thing to do with my lovely uterus) and I currently have no health insurance and the two pharmacists I spoke with told me the shots I needed to get better would be about $3000 to $4000 plus whatever a emergency room visit costs. They urged me to go to the hospital but if I can’t even afford health insurance how the fuck do you think I’ll cough up $3000?! After I just spent EVERYTHING I had on my car - my plates were expired and I couldn’t get caught up on the tickets because I’m already ridiculously broke so they booted and then towed my car which all amounted to a lovely $1700 to get it out. (I live in Chicago and they charge a daily fee to store cars)

Anyway I just didn’t know what to do and I could barely complete daily tasks and almost fainted twice at work because I was so sick so I finally had the brilliant idea to put my living room and sun room on airbnb and so I did that and people immediately started booking it which was amazing and there was finally light on the horizon of financial crisis and health crap. 1 ½ weeks and 4 guests later we have three young ladies arrive (around age 23) and they decide to treat my apartment like a frat house and drunkenly ring all my neighbors’ bells at 1am and are laughing and partying in the hallway at 5 am and let random dudes sleep in my dining room and so on and my landlord who lives in the building caught wind of this and basically told me to pack my things and move out. After long negotiations I was able to convince him to let me stay under the condition that I suspend my airbnb account and basically don’t breathe the wrong way.

So back to square one but finally having my car back I sign up to drive for Lyft and as I know my throttle is crap (supposedly $250 to fix) and my air condition doesn’t work, I take it to the mechanic thinking I’ll be spending $360 to get both fixed and I’m armed with my new and first credit card ($300 limit) Of course it turns out my throttle is just fine and what’s really broken is a sensor on my gas tank which needs to be lowered to fix and is a 5-6 hour job and runs around $600 oh and to top it off my front brake pads are warped and that’s $300. At this point I’m just laughing because how is this even real life??

Well I figured I would just fall behind on rent and everything else and just get it fixed until I got an email a day ago that my main family I nanny for can’t pay me for the last two weeks of work and that they won’t need me this week because the dad got laid off AGAIN (this is the third fucking time) and now I just have nothing. Just nothing. The internet is cut off and my roommates phone is cut off and I don’t know where rent will come from - it’s the 10th today so I’m 5 days late already.

I’m seriously laughing it’s so ridiculous how does all this happen in one month??

It just keeps getting from bad to worse to fucking disastrous.

The only family I have really is my dad and my aunt and they both are struggling and can’t help me and I’ve tried taking out payday loans etc. to no avail.

The very last thing I want to do is ask for help because I know I’ll get hate and people telling me I should die or I’m trash and I already feel worthless enough as is.

I work my ass off, I nanny for 4 families and they all love me to death I’ve been with two of them for 2 years and the others a year each but I only get minimum wage and for different reasons they haven’t been either able to pay me or haven’t needed me to come in as much as normal)

I’m only 3 months away from having my car paid off and if I can just get my car fixed up and be a Lyft and uber driver when I’m not nannying I can make rent and maybe even get health insurance.

I know 95% of you are only here to see my ass and boobs and don’t give a shit about me as a person and that’s ok I guess but for the few out there that do see me as a person and you want to help me, I appreciate every cent.
