This fountain reminds me of the fight with raiders.

Washington D.C. has a cool old metro system.  Metro Center Station is called Metro Central in Fallout3, and it’s the largest station in both real and game.

This station is quite far from the center of Falls Church. I guess there is nothing special to see around it for Fallout3 fans.

Takoma park is real neighborhood, and pictures are from Takoma station.  You will fight against the one of super mutant behemoth here, in Fallout3.

Anacostia station exists. I visited here for Frederick Douglass national historic site. Anacostia is a historic neighborhood.

Georgetown is a real  neighborhood along Potomac river in Washington D.C. In Fallout3, the old beautiful town is full of super mutants.

Arlington National Cemetery.

Don’t walk like the lone wanderer, it’s huge!

Museum of technology is looks like Smithsonian National Air And Space Museum in real. It has massive collections include a planetarium.

National Museum of Natural History is the most likely the Museum of History in the game.  wanna visit Underworld and hire Charon?

The white House is still there in real life. I took the photo from the Washington Monument.

You are able to see the ORIGINAL Declaration of Independence, the Magna Carta, and the Bill of Rights.  No photography allowed.

Fortunately, it’s Super Mutants free in real life.

Amazingly, it looks same! Also it has a visitor center inside in real life. 

It’s surrounded by scaffolding for renovation right now(2019), so looks more like the one in the game.

You’ll visit here for GNR in the game. In real life, it has an elevator and you can go up just like FO3.
