wait the intervention scene the agents have with kse about braun is literally so funny, they definitely go into it thinking "okay, let's convince our dear sweet kse to part with this dangerous disaster, by force if necessary" and the conversation actually makes them go "oh no, he's braun's little meow meow (scary)"
first of all its obvious kse is lying about when they started their partnership bc hes been carrying the plush around since the theme park, but claims he only persuaded braun to be his friend after braun kidnapped him. he was hiding braun more while he was at daydream, but he's never as slick as he thinks he is, so it's pretty likely that people noticed and just didn't say anything because everyone at daydream is crazy anyway. so from the agents' pov, either 1. he's being deliberately evasive about how he actually making contact with brown bc he's either been brainwashed into forgetting or he knows it's unforgivably bad to say out loud, or 2. braun really was so obsessed with kse that he kidnapped him unprovoked for a month, which is also bad!!!
but it's even worse because they already know how perfectly okay braun is with taking human life, compared to the entities the bureau uses that kse is trying to make comparisons to, and later on eun haje also lets them know how dangerous and powerful braun is. so all of them 100% realize that kse is desperately trying to spin the situation and manipulate them, and can't be sure whether it's because he's contaminated/brainwashed or he's afraid of braun or what. which also applies to kse's genuine and tearful description of braun as his closest friend who got him through so many tough times. theres literally 0 chance that they believe that these are kse's uncoerced, truthful opinions.
and then ON TOP OF THAT, braun decides to flex how "friendly" they are by telepathically asking kse to use his smoke to make a ghost zone for the plushie to take a bow in. but from everyone else's perspective, braun is capable of 1. wordless and undetectable communication with kse, 2. perhaps even direct control over kse as an extension of himself, 3. to the point of being able to get kse to create a supernatural zone in which braun can exercise reality bending abilities, and they have no way of knowing that this does not include incinerating them. and im sure braun was 100% aware of the message he was sending while kse was oblivious (kse: thats my buddy 😇) like braun truly was just establishing dominance and going "im the boss of kse and i can use him against you anytime i want"
the wording the agents use after that makes it really obvious they think kse is still basically under mental domination. their impression is definitely that braun forced kse into a master-slave relationship as a condition of letting him walk free from the talk show 😭

Not in a positive sense. ‘That’s….’ It was a tense smile when facing a powerful supernatural disaster.
no kse that's them realizing that braun basically got u to threaten to incinerate them on his behalf. youre blinded by how much you like braun snap out of it.
and then the entire rest of the convo is them trying to suss out how to appease braun (because apparently he's in charge of kse and kse doesn't even realize it, so how do we keep him from feeling the need to exercise that control) and a passive aggressive "how strong are you" dance that goes totally over kse's head... like it just seems like petty squabbling to him when braun's like "lol tiger general is just a dusty old zoo exhibit lol", like kse goes 🙄 "sure braun", but to the agents it's a really obvious "i'm stronger than you and i will win that fight" brag... like even if braun is bluffing about how much control he has over kse and how strong he is, everyone's impression is "oh kse is SCREWED screwed"

This definitely wasn’t ‘Okay, since Brown is a friend, you can stay together.’ ‘They just think it might go to hell if they separate us….’ When left alone, it was ‘basically’ friendly, but they were keeping it close because they were afraid it might escalate into a major disaster if they scratched the wrong way.
girl you dont even realize. you dont even know. all of them have walked away from this fully believing that youre braun's loyal pet outdoor cat and theyve judged that it's too dangerous to attempt to save you or even try to convince you of how dire the situation is. theyre all trained to prioritize their own safety and discard rescue attempts in the face of extreme danger. you just like braun too much to notice!!!!!
