𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐘 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐍.

         ❛  𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘, 𝒔𝒚𝒏𝒐𝒑𝒔𝒊𝒔.  born on may 10th, 1996 in seoul, sk —— her family lived an upper-middle class lifestyle, & while that would’ve been a blessing to any child, she didn’t really feel all that lucky. as she grew up, she was pushed into the shadow of her older sister —— their parents showing an obvious preference for their first born child in almost every way. they’d never admit to it out loud, but it was clear to the youngest in the house from a very early age. all she wanted was their loving attention, but she always came in 2nd place. at some point, she started to take an interest in the performing arts, & though her family allowed her to partake, they’d seldom show up at her plays / musicals to support her. though, all of this changed when she turned eleven. in a disgusting twist, [ tw death & terminal illness ] her older sibling was diagnosed with late stage, aggressive cancer, & passed away not long afterwards. seolbin was devastated. despite the tension, she & her sister were relatively close —— it was their parents that would cause rifts between them. with the spotlight now focused on her after their grieving became easier to cope with, she felt almost undeserving of it now. she finally got what she wanted, but the reason why made her feel extremely guilty. time drifted on, & at fifteen, she was scouted at a shopping mall by gold star media, & quickly joined their trainee program. seolbin never wanted to be an idol —— she was more interested in being an actress —— but she was convinced to learn how to sing, dance, & rap. she worked hard & was able to debut in fuse in 2014. her career has had many ups & downs ‘till this point, but she’s [ somehow ] made it this far without completely crashing. now, she’s seen as everyone’s ❝ dream girl. ❞ she’s sexy, she’s witty, she’s cute when she wants to be. however, she’s started to blur the lines between what’s her persona, & what’s her true personality.
