minseo wouldn’t consider herself close with a lot of people. her lifestyle largely consisted of all but living in training areas, gyms, and practice rooms. there were exceptions to the rule, of course, particularly one lee sooyeon.

sooyeon was easy to be around. she wasn’t someone minseo felt she had to be overly conscious of, at least not at this point in their friendship. she made it easier to get up on days when minseo would have otherwise stayed in bed.

today, they were just hanging out. minseo had been working on a few things - rap verses for upcoming 7rophy songs, mostly, but a couple of things entirely separate from the group as well - and had offered them for sooyeon to take a look at.

after that, they simply relaxed together in minseo’s dorm. occasionally, minseo would catch sooyeon looking at her just a little too long. it wasn’t that minseo was put off, but it did make her wonder if the girl would ever speak up. as cute as she was, sooyeon wasn’t particularly stealthy, with her lingering stares and a slight rush to her cheeks as she would look away.

minseo occasionally dropped hints to the wish member - tucking stray strands of hair behind her ear then telling her how pretty she was, finding reasons to touch her arm, hand, or shoulder, and wearing clothes that showed her figure better than usual when she knew they’d be together. still, it seemed a bit much to expect the younger girl to verbalize her feelings

17. Talk about someone you want to be friends with.

“I’d say our pepes, first and foremost! They’re so loyal to our group, they must be loyal friends too, right? Apart from that… I really admire Yonce-unnie and Nami-unnie, so I’d love to be close with them! I might steal some of their performing secrets, though - but don’t tell them that.”

8. Talk about the thing you are most proud of.

“I’m proudest of 7rophy, of course. I know we aren’t the best-known group out there yet, but I think we’ve come a long way, even if we still have a long way to go.” 

33. Talk about what you do when you are sad.

“When I’m sad I try not to think about it. Like Elsa, you know? Conceal, don’t feel. Sometimes that means rehearsing dances until I can’t stand, or playing video games until my fingers are numb. I think it’s easiest to get over things if you don’t marinate in agony.”

39. Talk about things you wish you’d known earlier.

“How much work singing could be, that I’d never see my mom again after I started training, that my teeth wouldn’t be a huge worry… To state a few. “
