I just added a notification/reminder functionality to my I Owe You You Owe Me app. I would like to share how I did to accomplish the code:

I have decided today that this blog will not just be about Android development.

Recently, due to the inability of finding an iPhone developer that could develop an idea I have for the price I want, I decided to learn it myself.

The download of the I Owe You You Owe Me application is increasing everyday, thank you all very much for the support.

I have been focusing the addition of new language packs lately and will be adding soon the Bahasa Malay language as there is quite some number of users from Malaysia.

But I also know that new functionality have to be added and I will be working on them soon.

Also, if you have any idea that you think can improve the app, do drop me a line! 

The app is finally launched. I went through a serious of problems when uploading the application because I had the very bright idea of not bringing my laptop's battery with me to my girlfriend's house and, by mistake, I disconnected the laptop from the power twice... very annoying.

I also didn't realize that to upload a paid version and a free version of my app, I needed two different classpaths for the each app. Very naive of me, as this makes complete sense. So basically I had to rebuild the project with a new classpath.

But that's alright, the app is not on Google Play and you guys are more than welcome to try either free version or, maybe even the paid one, if you dig the app :)

Today I had a testing iteration with a couple of friends, using diferent models of android mobiles. They came back to me with a lot of suggestions and, in the beginning, the app didn't even work! I am glad I tested with them, and not only on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus :)

After working the whole day fixing the app and translating it to Spanish, German and Portuguese, it is almost ready to be released!

The I Owe You You Owe Me app is an easy way to quickly organize how much money people are borrowing from you and how much you are lending.

The application, which I initially started as a little project just to better understand how to work with the android's ViewPager class and Fragments, have grown to be a fully operational application, that I have decided to launch at Google Play.

Should do it by the end of the week, after running final tests, and finalize the icons as well.
