FMA Week - Day 14: Whatever You Like

I started drawing Riza for Ladies’ Day, so I guess this could be considered a late contribution. I wanted to make it as good as I can balance with being so busy, so I couldn’t finish it in time for Ladies’ Day.

Some of the shading’s a lil weird, and the foreshortening on her arm was lazily done. Other than that, I think it turned out nicely!

Well, I would like to continue my Shoujo AU.

Let Me Be Your Martyr feat. some rule63-ed RoyEd

This features one of the many chores Edwina has to do to make up her debt to Alphonse. She doesn’t appreciate doing more menial tasks as they bore her, but then she meets the boys’ basketball team’s captain, Rosalie. She’s known in the school for fighting against having teams for separate genders, and was so influential she was able to enter the boys’ team and become the captain. The team has won 7 out of 8 national games ever since.

The fact that Edwina caught her in such a humble situation is what made her infatuated with Rosalie; Ed had assumed Rosalie was stuck-up, pretentious, and a know-it-all. (Later, Ed will find out these are all true, but it’s too late for Ed by that point.)

Well! This was fun, and I can’t wait until next year! Thank you to those who organized FMAWeek, as this has done wonders for my art progress and work ethic, as well as made me for active in-fandom. I’m grateful for FMAWeek.

Also, I’ve seen quite the [successful] effort made by the rest of the fandom to make this as interesting and wonderful as possible. To everyone who participated, thank you for taking everyone else back along the beautiful journey that was FMA. Hopefully I’ll see everyone next year!
