and then wrote a note to my friend about my life as we do since we have nearly always been long distance friends...

but now thats all I want to do.  Analyze and talk about what Ive learned this past year because Lord knows I have learned alot. 

At the start of the New Year, I left for a 2 month internship in Australia. After that I went right back to my studies in America as a bio/psych doubble major. 10 weeks later I was working on a cattle ranch, also home to 300 horses that we used to give out dude rides to teenagers and adults in the mountains, for 3.5 months.  then, right after that, I went back to another 10 weeks as a senior in college.  

anybody who has had an international experience, especially one where you lived in the same city for 2 months, can tell you that it was life changing. And then after only a short time at college to move to the West and work on a cattle ranch where one of your bosses is one of the last remaining actual cowboys, it changed my life all over.  

I know they dont sound substantial....but I have not yet had time to process each experience fully...let alone to figure out what they did to me as a whole.  

I need to process them.  The week off I have once this term is over will be the first time in a year that I have had a week off.  A week of no work, no school, nothing.  I am scared and extreamly excited.  I hope to use this time to figure out who I want to be after these experiences and to be a better person because the person I have been these last 10 weeks is not one that I am proud of and SO different than that girl who worked with horses in the mountains.  I want to be more like that girl.  I just need to figure out how to do it in an uban setting.
