On Saturday morning the world lost a truly wonderful person and a great pilot. Hearing of a fatal plane crash first thing in the morning at Page Field was unnerving enough. Finding out that one of my absolute best students was involved was downright sickening. This picture was taken on a 4 hour flight we did together in pursuit of Marc's instrument rating a couple weeks ago. An expert in all things Florida flying (he had his private license for years), Marc insisted we get permission to transit the restricted area in the skies over Disney World so I could see the parks from above while he flew. It was an amazing experience. And it was something that was to be expected with him. Marc was beyond selfless, ALWAYS happy, super hardworking, and will be extremely missed. I can't imagine what his family, friends, and coworkers are going through. Appreciate life. You can end up in the wrong place at the wrong time any second. (at Epcot - Walt Disney World)

Last weekend 7 of my best friends flew into Fort Myers on real planes. Then we took two of these bad boys fully loaded over the ocean and landed in Key West for the weekend where we killed it. I have the best best friends.
