Everyone else in Yor's life seems to believe she was. I'm sure Yuri would have taken any lie Yor told him about her work at face value, especially when he was a child who wouldn't understand. But he isn't stupid. And unlike with his suspicious about Yor's marriage, everyone else in his life also believes this. Yuri probably put the pieces together when he got older which only made him more overprotective.

This would recontextualize a lot of Yuri's actions. From his perspective, his sister was a victim of repeated child exploitation from unknown men. She purposefully didn't tell him and Yuri wasn't able to do anything. Now a strange unknown man has apparently been married to his sister and she didn't tell him? It probably felt like the same thing was happening all over again. But this time he could do something about it.

That's why he did a complete 180 from trying to find Yor a boyfriend to trying to have Loid executed. Why any suggestion of them being intimate sets him off more than anything else. And why he is so focused on eliminating scumbags from their country.

I think this was hinted at in Yuri's very first appearance. We have never seen him behave as violently as he did in his introduction scene. Yuri started off his interrogation with Mr. Hayward pretty calm and jovial. But when Mr. Hayward says that he was "spending money on ladies" and claiming that Yuri should know what that's like as a man, Yuri explodes. He starts sadistically torturing Hayward while screaming about protecting his family. To him, this man was as bad as the people who took advantage of his sister.

Story - 

Sir Pryze Ordona is one of the Castle’s last Wolfbred knights. He is a mentor to Link, and ten years older. He was a throne room guard until Queen Zelda Miranda’s assassination, then was reassigned to Zora’s Domain. He eventually becomes one of Zelda Esmerelda’s guards, at Link’s approval.

He was supposed to garner the title of Arvador, which means savior heir; however, after it became clear he was not displaying the typical behaviors of a pubescent Wolfbred male the title was given to Link instead. Despite Link being “more important” than Pryze in just about every area, Pryze has fought to keep a warm relationship with his cousin(?) and crown prince. Pryze is often insecure when not on the battlefield. Due to the plummeting population of Wolfbred, Link and Pryze's worth for all their lives has been tied to their ferocity in battle and their reproductive success… the latter Pryze is wholly insufficient in. This has caused romantic failure after romantic failure for Pryze: Hylian women aren't fond of Wolfbred regardless, but Pryze has been dumped by everyone he tried to court once they figured out his condition. As much as Pryze is upset due to his desire for pups of his own, he knows his infertility makes Link's life even more stressful despite the boy's young age as the only capable male born in the past 30 years.

Shortly before the Calamity, when news broke out through Castle Town that the Princess was suddenly pregnant, Pryze knows immediately that it's not a Hylian baby growing inside her, but a Wolfbred pup. He'd picked up on Link's behaviors towards the Princess over the past year, especially after their current season began, and confronted Link in the Castle. For quite some time, Pryze believed that Zelda had deceived Link, and that there was no demand from Hylia for the pair to reproduce.

About two years before the Great Calamity, Pryze was traveling to Gerudo Town with Princess Zelda and the rest of her guard. Although men cannot enter the gates of the city, Urbosa and her high-ranking guards came out to greet them. The captain of Chief Urbosa's Guard was named Esosu, who Zelda knew well and Link was fond of. Despite Pryze's insecurities about relationships with women, he and Esosu soon became fast friends, then fell in love… shortly before the Calamity, after seeing how Hyrule treated Link and Zelda's marriage, became engaged themselves. Although he was a royal knight at the time of the Great Calamity, he had not been when the Calamity struck. While Wolfbred were normally offered the spring season off, he refused to take the season off because Link never got the season even though he so desperately needed it. After being appointed to Zelda’s guard, he became ineligible. By divine provision, he'd been working with the Sheikah in Kakariko when the Calamity struck, sparing his life from the carnage that befell the rest of the royal knights.

After Link’s death, he stepped into the role of Hateno Village’s historian; a role that had been left vacant since Link’s mother’s sudden death 7 years before. He wears ruby earrings given to him by Esosu. He would end up becoming the adoptive father to two precious children who had lost their families in the Calamity and its aftermath, as well as helping raise Link’s sister after Link’s and his father's sudden deaths.

Sonamy Week 2025 | Day 5 - “Sleepover”

Apart from the obvious reason, there’s just something so exhilarating about that ‘first sleepover.’ It might be the first time you’re getting a glimpse into the window of your partner’s nightly routine. Even the most mundane tasks like teeth-brushing become fascinating because they’re being done by your person and suddenly you’re curious about every last thing they do. ‘He washes his face before bed? No wonder his complexion is so nice!’ ‘Oh, so she puts on lotion at night. That’s why she always smells so good.’ ‘If I wasn’t here, would he read a book to wind down or does he watch tv until he falls asleep?’ ‘Her pajamas are so cute! Does she always wear these or did she pick out the cutest pair just because I’m here?’ That first time is such a sweet yet thrilling experience, and so I hope I properly captured all that tender excitement between Sonic and Amy in this piece 🥰

Also Gerudo ! They dont seem to change a lot aside from minor outfit change, seemingly face marking. And they do seem to bare more neutral and dark color againts the colorful blue and green from botw. I think it's safe to assume they kept this from Ganondorf ? As we could have seen in totk.

Now this makes me wonder what will happen with him. Since we see him leading a bunch of Gerudo back in that one totk cutscene.

I suppose the sage is leading a sort rebelion ??? Oh my it will be so cool to have her kick the shit out of Ganondorf.
