“Let’s go, little guy!” my big brother calls from the other room. I was feeling good, wearing my favorite sweater and jeans, ready to feel the slight breeze toss around my springy, curly hair as we walked around the gardens near our home. I was known for getting into a bit of trouble, so my brother decided he would stick by my side to insure good behavior.
I wasn’t too sure we would be going out today - I had wet the bed the night before, which was a common occurrence these past few weeks. I don’t know what it was - perhaps stress from school, moving to a new state, keeping up with work, etc. - that messed with my body. Regardless, that meant a mess on the bed that I was needing help to clean up. That meant my brother would take care of the laundry while I took a shower. I felt bad for the situation, but what could I do? It’s not like I was wetting on purpose. Perhaps it would stop just as it had started - suddenly and without warning.
Not a second after he calls for me, my bedroom door flies open. My brother had an intense look on his face. There was a pointed smile, as if he had a revenge plot to carry out. He instructs me to stand against the wall while he replaces the freshly laundered sheets on my bed. I noticed a blanket was rolled up and much bulkier than normal. When he finally shook the blanket out to put it on the bed, a pile of super babyish diapers fell out. I knew his plan right then, and I was too shocked to fight it. I knew I wouldn’t win against him, and a surprising curiosity washed over me. I was humiliated, but perhaps I finally had an answer to waking up soaked and freezing and finally getting a good night of sleep.
Just as those thoughts are buzzing through my head, by brother whips out his phone and instructs me to strip down. I obey, and he documents the moment in a series of pictures. I assume he plans to hold these against me, especially since I had nothing to hide my little boy’s briefs I loved to wear so much.
“Lay on the bed. We have to try all these different diapers to figure out what fits and keeps you dry and comfy all night. Oh, and, you’ll be wearing them during the day as punishment for all the times I had to do your laundry” my brother explained.
I flopped my limp body on the nice, fresh bedding. He threw the diapers all over me, ordering me to pick my favorite one. Just then two more clicks from the phone camera went off and before I could react, my undies were yanked off and a diaper was being taped snugly around me.
