          knowing how embarrassing something like that could be, minjun shakes his head at the other, waving a hand to make sure he didn’t think too much of it. “don’t worry about it, it’s okay! we all have accidents.” he grins brightly, taking a piece of his own food to eat while he listened to the elder speak, nodding his head slowly. “what’s been on your mind, hyung? you know people say that talking about it can help a lot! i figured that something was bothering you since it’s been so long...” the male pouted out his lips, leaning his elbow against the table so he can hold his cheek in his hand. “nothing’s going on in my life really, as per usual! i have a pretty boring life most the time, just a lot of walking! nothing you’re not used to hearing! i’m more worried about you.”

          looking up at the scoreboard, minjun scowled, moving over to very lightly hit jungkook on the shoulder, trying to act explosively angry even though they both know that’s impossible coming from him. “don’t be such a brat! of course i can beat you! i was just out of practice that round, you’re really gonna have to try hard to beat me this time around!”

          shifting just slightly in his spot, minjun watched the other take care of the library book, nodding as he listened to him talk for a little. “ah! i actually have read a lot of those too...when i get the time to come get a book of course.” he laughs under his breath, bringing a hand up to half cover his smile. “i actually used to come in here and just sit down and flip through books, hidden over in that section...it’s been a while since i’ve done that, probably a whole year.” realizing how he was starting to trail off his face turns red again and he immediately embarrasses himself, not wanting to talk too much when the other person might not even wanna talk. 

          “oh? it’s really a beautiful place...but it’s kind of old, just to warn you!” he nods, his cheeks obviously flushing a dark red at the praise. “it’s a far walk too, unless you want to take the bus together or something?”

          he can’t keep the very wide smile off his face, especially as the younger went on. a light amount of blush heated up his cheeks, a little laugh sounding from his nose. “you’re flattering me, but it really has nothing to do with me! it was all you, don’t discredit yourself!” the male hums, shaking his head lightly. “spend however much you want, it doesn’t matter! i’d say that you earned it! i’ll get whatever you want, ice cream included!”

          staring at the other male for a second, minjun noticed the little bit of his lunch as made its way onto his chin. he’d been staring for longer than just enough time to catch glance of that, so it’s only in his nature that he gets embarrassed, reaching up to rub the stop that mirror on his own face with red cheeks. “i think...you missed...” 

i still want a best friend plot for minjun!! like that one friend he actually doesn’t get as embarrassed around and can say whatever he thinks without getting so shy. and the can do cute things like playfully tap each others butts???

          “one day i’m gonna beat you in bowling!” he laughed, looking over at the younger boy from the score board. minjun was highly competitive on the low, so he tried to not let it show too much, but there is an audible huff. “i’ll crush you one day jeon jungkook!”
