My recent MIBF haul. Most of this books were purchased at FullyBooked and Anvil/National Bookstore booths.
The highlights of my week. I am now on my 3rd book from my MIBF haul and finally had the time to look for these cord protectors and cord organizer/clip. On an unrelated note, I am thinking of starting a small business to help with my income. This may involve selling some of my books (those I know that I have outgrown and would not like to keep anymore) and some arts and crafts stuff. I hope I can start it by next month. And yes, hello again people of tumblr. It seems like I am back.

I am actually done reading âThe Kite Runner" and I canât believe I let this beautiful and heartbreaking novel pass me by for a couple of years. Iâve been wanting to buy my own copy of the book but everytime I go inside a bookstore and I see it on display, my attention is diverted into some other book. I think after finishing the e-book, I am obliged to buy a physical copy of it.Â
As of the moment, I am reading âA Thousand Splendid Suns" and "Hollow Cityâ.
On another note, hooray for another blog entry. I donât know if you have visited my page but I am currently working on my blog (trying to resurrect it and all). It is still a work in progress, especially the theme/layout because I am still looking for a cleaner base layout. I am also going to clean my Instagram feed and still earning enough courage to change it from âprivateâ to âpublicâ. I guess it will depend on my mood and life decisions after this week. Iâve been putting my life on hold since the start of January (yeah, I know) even if Iâve declared making âa bucket listâ. I guess I am just waiting for that one thing Iâve been praying for since September.Â

Farewell 2013, welcome 2014. I am grateful for all the blessings my family and I received during the past year and for whatever unlucky circumstances we all experienced, we should leave them all behind and start with renewed faith in our hearts that this year will be better for everyone. I can't ignore the fact that 2013 was a very significant year in my life, I graduated college, passed the board exam, and experienced work (which I am praying for). Despite the fact that 2013 held events that had shaken the entire country, it was also a year of achievements for the Philippines (like all the beauty pageants and the like). I also made a pact that I will be done with resolutions. I have tweeted about it a couple of days ago on why I have pushed aside the idea of resolutions due to the fact that I keep on disappointing myself after a year. I think the part of "change" in making resolutions is what scares us all the most and hinders us to stay with it. I remembered someone told me that if I wanted change for myself, I shouldn't wait for another year to make it. So I'll just try to make everyday of my 2014 worth living. And I will say yes to keeping a short bucket list for my next set of adventures. So I hope everyone will enjoy 2014 and make the most out of it. Happy New Year and God bless! P.S. I will be back and look I made a decent post :-).
