Hi, Hello, Hey! Follow my other blog!
So I have started school and I haven’t had much time to keep up with this blog. For one of my classes I had to make a blog, which I will be updating regularly! (I have to hehe)Â
Here is the link:Â

Go read it and stuff! :D
Recent Musical Discoveries
I will admit I’m not the most music savvy person nowadays, but every now and then I go on very fruitful musical quests. (Spotify is the best place to do this tbh)
Here is a list of recent music discoveries I have made. Keep in mind these aren’t necessarily new songs or new bands, they’re just new to me and hopefully new to you too!Â
tUnE-yArDs- Water Fountain
Two Weeks- FKA Twigs
Get Up, Get On-Jill Andrews
Never Ending Circles- CHVRCHES
Green & Gold-Â Lianne La Havas

La Casa Azul: Museo Frida Kahlo
Coyoacan, Mexico
This summer I had the chance to travel to Mexico City and other surrounding areas. Visiting Frida Kahlo’s home was by far one of my favorite parts of the trip. These are some of the pictures I took inside the museum. Unfortunately halfway through the museum tour it started pouring rain (the weather there is unbelievably unpredictable) and I wasn’t able to get any good pictures from the outside of the house, but it is also very beautiful.Â
The house was full of so much history and I could feel it as soon as I walked in. It was a great experience. Â

This was an assignment for my second semester of Motion Picture Production. The assignment was to do a 30 sec spot and I chose to feature my local animal shelter where I adopted my cat, Luna (also featured in the video). I had been told many times by my professor that kids and animals were the hardest to work with, but I think kitty did pretty well. Some of the shots I got in one take and others took a lot longer. I mounted my camera to my monopod and put it at kitty’s level, that’s how I achieved the lower shots. I also had the great opportunity to have one of my shorts scored for the first time. I didn’t get to work with the composer in person, but I believe he captured the essence of my concept very well. He is actually my boyfriend’s best friend who just graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, one of the best in the country.Â
I am actually very proud of this project and very grateful to all of those who helped!Â
This is the first short I made for my “Basic Motion Picture Production” class in community college. The criteria was: It had to be a chase, under a minute, silent and only 5 shots. It’s pretty rough but its still one of my favorites. Making this short is what really got me to consider filmmaking, specifically short narrative filmmaking, as a future career.Â
