I’m a 16 year old non-binary person and I’m really struggling with my gender expression. I love feminine things and I like looking feminine but I feel people won’t respect me as a trans* person if I’m not androgynous

Oh you ask a hell of a question there. One I still struggle with. What I’ve been learning, way too late in life, is that you really need to be comfortable in your own skin. The world is going through a blip right now, but I find that people are becoming much more accepting every day. But that’s not to say that I don’t still share your fears. My approach has been to introduce little changes. Feel it out, see how people truly react. With every success (which is really just a lack of response from people) you’ll become more confident an another step closer to being honest with yourself. I suspect it won’t be as bad as you think.

Slightly snowy but very nice start to the new year here in the northeast. Loving my funky new Venus jeans (and top). I own a lot of Venus stuff. I may be a bit old for their style, but I really don’t care. :D Super in love with the vintage 70′s leather jacket that a friend gave me. Can’t even fathom what that would have cost me either in a second hand shop or if I could have travel back to 1973 and bought it new!

What’s going to happen?

As with most folks, I’m being blitzed by Tumblr tagging my pics as “inappropriate”. You would have to be in a 1590′s convent to agree with some of their decisions. So I have requested review on several. Just to play nice I have chosen to delete a few posts that are clearly sexy (definitely not pornographic). But maybe a bit my bum showing through pantyhose is too much for them.

If my account suddenly vanishes, not sure what I will do. I don’t currently have another platform that I’m on. And I post rather erratically and infrequently as it is. So if Tumblr doesn’t want me, not sure if I’ll start up somewhere else or not. I am not, nor will I ever be, a porn page. All I wanted to do was share a very special side of me. I feel as though I’m more female than male and I was hoping to connect with more like me. Hopefully this page will survive and I can continue to do so.
