Im a fucking wreck right now, i have friends who will support me and i don't really have a plan on how to tell my other classmates. So this is going to be fun huh

So is it normal that i don't have dysphoria for everything ? Like i don't mind the lower half of my body but boy oh boy do i hate everything up

Is it normal that i keep misgendering myself ? Even in my head ? Knowing that i'm in the closet except online and to my closest friends

And do you have any tips to calm down when you're feeling hella dysphoric ?

I just discovered that i was more masculine like 4 months ago so everything is relatively new to me

I mean, i knew some stuff bc i always have a queer timeline but it's all in english so i have no idea how it works in france

I don't know about the misgendering part. It sounds like its pretty logical. All your life you've been a woman (reading your post makes me assume you identified as a woman as well? Correct me if Im wrong), and 'suddenly' you identify as something else. Sounds pretty logical to me, but maybe Im just talking nonsense now.

For me, it works to dress like I want to dress while being dysphoric. So even at stay-at-home days I wear my binder and stuff. I don't know where you are with getting stuff and wearing stuff. Also, a trick that helps me a bit. I started shaving my face. The feeling of stubble, tho invisible, is amazing!

And for now i don't have a binder, yet, but i try working around it with some sport bras and baggy shirts and sweater

I am starting to do some research about everything and trying out pronouns and names so it also helps with dysphoria, oh and shaving really helps ! I did try it out and it's really nice !

Sometimes as children we just take what we are fed. Even if you were very inquisitive, like I was, you might have just pushed your gender aside and thought “well everyone says I’m a girl/boy so I must have to be a girl/boy.” You could have never known that being another gender was an option, or just could be a feminine trans man/ masculine trans woman.

Most trans people aren’t what you see in media. Most arent screaming since they could talk that they weren’t a girl/boy. Many of us learn later in life due to different reasons. There are tons of trans people who realize their gender in their senior years and still transition and pass.

Just because you don’t check every box for signs you are trans doesn’t mean you aren’t trans. And those signs might be hidden down where you don’t remember them or pushes them away as something else.
