I do but I deleted the one fic I had up 😭 I have another concept I've worked on for a few months. The hyperfixation has been Uma lately but I might get back to my PPG fic at some point when I feel more inspired

I am working on an Uma Musume fan fiction and constantly worry that I'm going to do something wrong and that people will be mad at me. I know on some level that those fears are irrational but I still want to see other people's preferences, perspectives, and I might even use some ideas

The problem with writing a fic is wanting immediate validation as soon as you figure the story out but knowing the story, writing the first draft of the story, and actually posting the story are all different steps with time in between them, and it's hard to not just want to tell everyone what you want to do

Fic writers how do you stay this patient? Or do you just write so fast the validation happens when it's needed?
